- [asv] Let
me sing for my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard.
My wellbeloved had a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

- [jnd] I
will sing to my well-beloved
a song of my beloved touching his vineyard: My well-beloved had a
vineyard upon a fruitful hill.
- [kjv] Now
will I sing to my
wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved
hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

- [asv] and
he digged it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with
the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also hewed
out a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth
grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

he dug it, and gathered

built a tower in the midst of it, and also hewed out a winepress
therein; and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, but it
brought forth wild grapes.
- [kjv] And
he fenced it, and gathered
out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and
built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein:
and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth
wild grapes.

betwixt me and my vineyard.
- [asv] What
could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it?
wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it
forth wild grapes?

that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
- [asv] And
now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the

under foot;
- [kjv] And
now go to; I will tell you
what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and

I will make it a waste --
it shall not be pruned nor cultivated, but there shall come up briars

it.
- [kjv] And
I will lay it waste: it

thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah the plant of his
delight: and he looked for justice, and behold, blood-shedding; for
righteousness, and behold, a cry.

plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for

may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

ones, without inhabitant.
- [kjv] In
mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be
desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

- [kjv] Yea,
ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer
shall yield an ephah.
- [asv] Woe
unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow
strong drink; that tarry late into the night, till wine inflame them!

- [jnd] Woe

that linger till twilight, wine inflameth them!
- [kjv] Woe
unto them that rise up
early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue
until night, till wine inflame them!
- [asv] And

- [jnd] And

Jehovah, nor do they see the operation of his hands.
- [kjv] And
the harp, and the viol,
the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard
not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
- [asv] Therefore
my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge; and their
honorable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst.

- [jnd] Therefore
my people are led
away captive from lack of knowledge, and their nobility die of famine,
and their multitude are parched with thirst.
- [kjv] Therefore
my people are gone
into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable
men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

descend , and her multitude, and her tumult, and that is joyful within
her.
- [kjv] Therefore
hell hath enlarged
herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and
their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend

humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

- [jnd] and
Jehovah of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and the holy God
hallowed in righteousness.
- [kjv] But
the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy
shall be sanctified in righteousness.
- [asv] Then

fat ones shall wanderers eat.

fat ones shall strangers eat.
- [kjv] Then

fat ones shall strangers eat.

devoureth the stubble, and dry grass sinketh down in the flame, their
root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust; for
they have rejected the law of Jehovah of hosts, and despised the word

- [kjv] Therefore

their carcases are become as dung in the midst of the streets. For all
this his anger is not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.
- [kjv] Therefore
is the anger of the
LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand
against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and
their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his
anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
- [asv] And
he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss for
them from the end of the earth; and, behold, they shall come with speed
swiftly.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /wɪl/ /lɪft/ /ʌp/ /æn/ /ˈensən/ /tu/ /ðə/ /ˈneɪʃ(ə)nz/ /frɑm/ /fɑr/ /ænd/ /wɪl/ /hɪs/ /fɔr/ /ðem/ /frɑm/ /ði/ /end/ /əv/ /ði/ /ɜrθ/ /ænd/ /bɪˈhoʊld/ /ðeɪ/ /ʃæl/ /kʌm/ /wɪð/ /spid/ /swɪftli/
- [jnd] And
he will lift up a banner
to the nations afar off, and will hiss for one from the end of the
earth; and behold, it will come rapidly lightly.
- [kjv] And
he will lift up an ensign
to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the
earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:
- 5:27 [cbgb] 其中沒有疲倦的、絆跌的.沒有打盹的、睡覺的.腰帶並不放鬆、鞋帶也不折斷.
- [asv] None
shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep;
neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of
their shoes be broken:
- [snd] /nʌn/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /ˈwɪri/ /nɔr/ /ˈstʌmb(ə)l/ /əˈmʌŋ/ /ðem/ /nʌn/ /ʃæl/ /ˈslʌmbər/ /nɔr/ /slip/ /ˈniðər/ /ʃæl/ /ðə/ /ˈɡɜrd(ə)l/ /əv/ /ðer/ /lɔɪnz/ /bi/ /lust/ /nɔr/ /ðə/ /'lætʃit/ /əv/ /ðer/ /ʃuz/ /bi/ /ˈbroʊkən/
- [jnd] None
among them is weary, none
stumbleth; they slumber not, nor sleep; none hath the girdle of his
loins loosed, nor the thong of his sandals broken;
- [kjv] None
shall be weary nor
stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the
girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be
broken:
- [asv] whose
arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses' hoofs shall be
accounted as flint, and their wheels as a whirlwind:
- [snd] /huz/ /ˈæroʊz/ /ɑr/ /ʃɑrp/ /ænd/ /ɔl/ /ðer/ /baʊz/ /bent/ /ðer/ /hɔrsiz/ /hufs/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /əˈkaʊntId/ /æz/ /flɪnt/ /ænd/ /ðer/ /wilz/ /æz/ /eɪ/ /ˈwɜrlˌwɪnd/
- [jnd] their
arrows are sharp, and
all their bows bent; their horses' hoofs are reckoned as the flint, and
their wheels as a whirlwind.
- [kjv] Whose
arrows are sharp, and
all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint,
and their wheels like a whirlwind:
- 5:29 [cbgb] 他們要吼叫像母獅子咆哮、像少壯獅子.他們要咆哮抓食、坦然叼去、無人救回。
- [asv] their
roaring shall be like a lioness, they shall roar like young lions; yea,
they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and carry it away safe, and
there shall be none to deliver.
- [snd] /ðer/ /ˈrɔrɪŋ/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /laɪk/ /eɪ/ /ˈlaɪənəs/ /ðeɪ/ /ʃæl/ /rɔr/ /laɪk/ /jʌŋ/ /ˈlaɪənz/ /jeɪ/ /ðeɪ/ /ʃæl/ /rɔr/ /ænd/ /leɪ/ /hoʊld/ /əv/ /ðə/ /preɪ/ /ænd/ /ˈkeri/ /ɪt/ /əˈweɪ/ /seɪf/ /ænd/ /ðer/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /nʌn/ /tu/ /dɪˈlɪvər/
- [jnd] Their
roaring is like a
lioness, they roar as the young lions; yea, they growl, and snatch the
prey, and carry it away safe, and there is none to deliver;
- [kjv] Their
roaring shall be like a
lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay
hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver
it.
- [asv] And
they shall roar against them in that day like the roaring of the sea:
and if one look unto the land, behold, darkness and distress; and the
light is darkened in the clouds thereof.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /ʃæl/ /rɔr/ /əˈɡenst/ /ðem/ /ɪn/ /ðæt/ /deɪ/ /laɪk/ /ðə/ /ˈrɔrɪŋ/ /əv/ /ðə/ /si/ /ænd/ /ɪf/ /wʌn/ /lʊk/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ /lænd/ /bɪˈhoʊld/ /ˈdɑrknəs/ /ænd/ /dɪˈstres/ /ænd/ /ðə/ /laɪt/ /ɪz/ /ˈdɑrkənd/ /ɪn/ /ði/ /klaʊdz/ /ðerˈɔv/
- [jnd] and
they shall roar against
them in that day like the roaring of the sea. And if one look upon the
earth, behold darkness distress, and the light is darkened in the
heavens thereof.
- [kjv] And
in that day they shall
roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the
land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the
heavens thereof.
