- [asv] For
I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to

- [jnd] For
I greatly desire to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual
gift to establish you;
- [kjv] For
I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to
the end ye may be established;
- [asv] that
is, that I with you may be comforted in you, each of us by the other's
faith, both yours and mine.
- [snd] /ðæt/ /ɪz/ /ðæt/ /aɪ/ /wɪð/ /ju/ /meɪ/ /bi/ /ˈkʌmfərtId/ /ɪn/ /ju/ /itʃ/ /əv/ /ʌs/ /baɪ/ /ði/ /ˈʌðər/ /s/ /feɪθ/ /boʊθ/ /jʊrz/ /ænd/ /maɪn/
- [jnd] that
is, to have mutual comfort among you, each by the faith in the other,
both yours and mine.
- [kjv] That
is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both

- [asv] And
I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to
come unto you (and was hindered hitherto), that I might have some fruit
in you also, even as in the rest of the Gentiles.
- [snd] /ænd/ /aɪ/ /wʊd/ /nɑt/ /hæv/ /ju/ /ˈɪɡnərənt/ /ˈbreðrən/ /ðæt/ /'ɔ:fntaimz/ /aɪ/ /ˈpɜrpəst/ /tu/ /kʌm/ /ˈʌntu/ /ju/ /ænd/ /wɑz/ /ˈhɪndərd/ /ˌhɪðərˈtu/ /ðæt/ /aɪ/ /maɪt/ /hæv/ /sʌm/ /frut/ /ɪn/ /ju/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /æz/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /rest/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈdʒenˌtaɪlz/
- [jnd] But
I do not wish you to be
ignorant, brethren, that I often proposed to come to you, (and have
been hindered until the present time,) that I might have some fruit
among you too, even as among the other nations also.
- [kjv] Now
I would not have you
ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but
was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as
among other Gentiles.
- [asv] I
am debtor both to Greeks and to Barbarians, both to the wise and to the
foolish.
- [snd] /aɪ/ /ɑm'/ /ˈdetər/ /boʊθ/ /tu/ / /ænd/ /tu/ /bɑrˈberiənz/ /boʊθ/ /tu/ /ðə/ /waɪz/ /ænd/ /tu/ /ðə/ /ˈfulɪʃ/
- [jnd] I
am a debtor both to Greeks and barbarians, both to wise and
unintelligent:
- [kjv] I
am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise,
and to the unwise.
- [asv] So,
as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you also that
are in Rome.
- [snd] /soʊ/ /æz/ /mʌtʃ/ /æz/ /ɪn/ /mi/ /ɪz/ /aɪ/ /ɑm'/ /ˈredi/ /tu/ /pritʃ/ /ðə/ /ˈɡɑsp(ə)l/ /tu/ /ju/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ðæt/ /ɑr/ /ɪn/ /rɔhm/
- [jnd] so,
as far as depends on me, am I ready to announce the glad tidings to you
also who in Rome.
- [kjv] So,
as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at
Rome also.
- [asv] For
I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to
the Greek.
- [snd] /fɔr/ /aɪ/ /ɑm'/ /nɑt/ /əˈʃeɪmd/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈɡɑsp(ə)l/ /fɔr/ /ɪt/ /ɪz/ /ðə/ /ˈpaʊər/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /ˈʌntu/ /sælˈveɪʃ(ə)n/ /tu/ /ˈevri/ /wʌn/ /ðæt/ /bɪˈlivθ/ /tu/ /ðə/ /dʒu/ /fɜrst/ /ænd/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /tu/ /ðə/ /gri:k/
- [jnd] For
I am not ashamed of the
glad tidings; for it is God's power to salvation, to every one that
believes, both to Jew first and to Greek:
- [kjv] For
I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every
one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
- [asv] For
therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it
is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.
- [snd] /fɔr/ /ðerˈɪn/ /ɪz/ /rɪˈvild/ /eɪ/ /'raitʃəsnis/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /frɑm/ /feɪθ/ /ˈʌntu/ /feɪθ/ /æz/ /ɪt/ /ɪz/ /ˈrɪt(ə)n/ /bʌt/ /ðə/ /rai tʃəs/ /ʃæl/ /lɪv/ /baɪ/ /feɪθ/
- [jnd] for
righteousness of God is
revealed therein, on the principle of faith, to faith: according as it
is written, But the just shall live by faith.
- [kjv] For
therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it
is written, The just shall live by faith.
- [asv] For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness;
- [snd] /fɔr/ /ðə/ /rɑθ/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /ɪz/ /rɪˈvild/ /frɑm/ /ˈhev(ə)n/ /əˈɡenst/ /ɔl/ / /ænd/ / /əv/ /men/ /hu/ /ˈhɪndər/ /ðə/ /truθ/ /ɪn/ /
- [jnd] For
there is revealed wrath of
God from heaven upon all impiety, and unrighteousness of men holding
the truth in unrighteousness.
- [kjv] For
the wrath of God is
revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of
men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
- [asv] because
that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it
unto them.
- [snd] /bɪˈkɔz/ /ðæt/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɪz/ /noʊn/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /ɪz/ /ˈmænɪˌfest/ /ɪn/ /ðem/ /fɔr/ /ɡɑd/ /ˈmænɪˌfestId/ /ɪt/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðem/
- [jnd] Because
what is known of God is manifest among them, for God has manifested to
them,
- [kjv] Because
that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed
it unto them.
- [asv] For
the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly
seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his
everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:
- [snd] /fɔr/ /ði/ /ɪnˈvɪzəb(ə)l/ /θɪŋz/ /əv/ /hɪm/ /sɪns/ /ði/ /kriˈeɪʃ(ə)n/ /əv/ /ðə/ /wɜrld/ /ɑr/ /ˈklɪrli/ /sin/ /biɪŋ/ /pərˈsivd/ /θru/ /ðə/ /θɪŋz/ /ðæt/ /ɑr/ /meɪd/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /hɪz/ /ˌevərˈlæstɪŋ/ /ˈpaʊər/ /ænd/ /dɪˈvɪnəti/ /ðæt/ /ðeɪ/ /meɪ/ /bi/ /wɪðˈaʊt/ /ɪkˈskjuz/
- [jnd] for
from world's creation the
invisible things of him are perceived, being apprehended by the mind
through the things that are made, both his eternal power and divinity,
-- so as to render them inexcusable.
- [kjv] For
the invisible things of
him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood
by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so
that they are without excuse:
- 1:21 [cbgb] 因為他們雖然知道 神、卻不當作 神榮耀他、也不感謝他.他們的思念變為虛妄、無知的心就昏暗了.
- [asv] because
that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks;
but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was
darkened.
- [snd] /bɪˈkɔz/ /ðæt/ /ˈnoʊɪŋ/ /ɡɑd/ /ðeɪ/ /ˈɡlɔrəˌfaɪd/ /hɪm/ /nɑt/ /æz/ /ɡɑd/ /ˈniðər/ /ɡeɪv/ /θæŋks/ /bʌt/ /bɪˈkeɪm/ /veɪn/ /ɪn/ /ðer/ /ˈriz(ə)nɪŋz/ /ænd/ /ðer/ /ˈsensləs/ /hɑrt/ /wɑz/ /ˈdɑrkənd/
- [jnd] Because,
knowing God, they
glorified not as God, neither were thankful; but fell into folly in
their thoughts, and their heart without understanding was darkened:
- [kjv] Because
that, when they knew
God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became
vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
- 1:22 [cbgb]
- [asv] Professing
themselves to be wise, they became fools,
- [snd] /prəˈfesɪŋ/ /ðəmˈselvz/ /tu/ /bi/ /waɪz/ /ðeɪ/ /bɪˈkeɪm/ /fulz/
- [jnd] professing
themselves to be wise, they became fools,
- [kjv] Professing
themselves to be wise, they became fools,
- [asv] and
changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image
of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping
things.
- [snd] /ænd/ /tʃeɪndʒd/ /ðə/ /ˈɡlɔri/ /əv/ /ði/ /ˌɪnkəˈrʌptəb(ə)l/ /ɡɑd/ /fɔr/ /ðə/ /ˈlaɪknəs/ /əv/ /æn/ /ˈɪmɪdʒ/ /əv/ /kəˈrʌptəb(ə)l/ /mæn/ /ænd/ /əv/ /bɜrdz/ /ænd/ /fɔr/ /fʊtId/ /bists/ /ænd/ /ˈkripɪŋ/ /θɪŋz/
- [jnd] and
changed the glory of the
incorruptible God into likeness of an image of corruptible man and of
birds and quadrupeds and reptiles.
- [kjv] And
changed the glory of the
uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to
birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
- [asv] Wherefore
God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that
their bodies should be dishonored among themselves:
- [snd] /ˈwerfɔr/ /ɡɑd/ /ɡeɪv/ /ðem/ /ʌp/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /lʌsts/ /əv/ /ðer/ /hɑrts/ /ˈʌntu/ /ʌn'kli:nnəs/ /ðæt/ /ðer/ /ˈbɑdiz/ /ʃʊd/ /bi/ /dɪsˈɑnərd/ /əˈmʌŋ/ /ðəmˈselvz/
- [jnd] Wherefore
God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, to
dishonour their bodies between themselves:
- [kjv] Wherefore
God also gave them
up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour
their own bodies between themselves:
- 1:25 [cbgb] 他們將 神的真實變為虛謊、去敬拜事奉受造之物、不敬奉那造物的主.主乃是可稱頌的、直到永遠。阿們。
- [asv] for
that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and
served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.
Amen.
- [snd] /fɔr/ /ðæt/ /ðeɪ/ /ɪksˈtʃeɪndʒd/ /ðə/ /truθ/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /fɔr/ /eɪ/ /laɪ/ /ænd/ /ˈwɜrˌʃɪpt/ /ænd/ /sɜrvd/ /ði/ /ˈkritʃər/ /ˈræðər/ /ðæn/ /ði/ /krieɪtər/ /hu/ /ɪz/ /ˈblesəd/ /fɔr/ /ˈevər/ /eɪmen'/
- [jnd] who
changed the truth of God
into falsehood, and honoured and served the creature more than him who
had created , who is blessed for ever. Amen.
- [kjv] Who
changed the truth of God
into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the
Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
- [asv] For
this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed
the natural use into that which is against nature:
- [snd] /fɔr/ /ðɪs/ /kɔz/ /ɡɑd/ /ɡeɪv/ /ðem/ /ʌp/ /ˈʌntu/ /vaɪl/ /ˈpæʃ(ə)nz/ /fɔr/ /ðer/ /'wimin/ /tʃeɪndʒd/ /ðə/ /ˈnætʃ(ə)rəl/ /juz/ /ˈɪntu/ /ðæt/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɪz/ /əˈɡenst/ /ˈneɪtʃər/
- [jnd] For
this reason God gave them up to vile lusts; for both their females
changed the natural use into that contrary to nature;
- [kjv] For
this cause God gave them
up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural
use into that which is against nature:
- 1:27 [cbgb] 男人也是如此、棄了女人順性的用處、慾火攻心、彼此貪戀、男和男行可羞恥的事、就在自己身上受這妄為當得的報應。
- [asv] and
likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in
their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and
receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ˈlaɪkˌwaɪz/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ðə/ /men/ /livɪŋ/ /ðə/ /ˈnætʃ(ə)rəl/ /juz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈwʊmən/ /bɜrnd/ /ɪn/ /ðer/ /lʌst/ /wʌn/ /tɔrd/ /əˈnʌðər/ /men/ /wɪð/ /men/ /ˈwɜrkɪŋ/ / /ænd/ /rɪˈsivɪŋ/ /ɪn/ /ðəmˈselvz/ /ðæt/ /ˈrekəmˌpens/ /əv/ /ðer/ /ˈerər/ /wɪtʃ/ /wɑz/ /du/
- [jnd] and
in like manner the males
also, leaving the natural use of the female, were inflamed in their
lust towards one another; males with males working shame, and receiving
in themselves the recompense of their error which was fit.
- [kjv] And
likewise also the men,
leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward
another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in
themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
- [asv] And
even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up
unto a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
- [snd] /ænd/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /æz/ /ðeɪ/ /rɪˈfjuzd/ /tu/ /hæv/ /ɡɑd/ /ɪn/ /ðer/ /ˈnɑlɪdʒ/ /ɡɑd/ /ɡeɪv/ /ðem/ /ʌp/ /ˈʌntu/ /eɪ/ /reprəbeɪt'/ /maɪnd/ /tu/ /du/ /ðoʊz/ /θɪŋz/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɑr/ /nɑt/ /ˈfɪtɪŋ/
- [jnd] And
according as they did not
think good to have God in knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate
mind to practise unseemly things;
- [kjv] And
even as they did not like
to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate
mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
- [asv] being
filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness,
maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malignity;
whisperers,
- [snd] /biɪŋ/ /fɪld/ /wɪð/ /ɔl/ / /'wikidnis/ /'kʌvitəsnis/ /mə'liʃəsnis/ /fʊl/ /əv/ /ˈenvi/ /ˈmɜrdər/ /straɪf/ /dɪˈsit/ /mə'ligniti/ /'wispə/
- [jnd] being
filled with all
unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy,
murder, strife, deceit, evil dispositions; whisperers,
- [kjv] Being
filled with all
unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness;
full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
- [asv] backbiters,
