- [asv] And
he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor
saith, And the man whose eye was closed saith;

- [asv] He
saith, who heareth the words of God, Who seeth the vision of
the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open:
- [snd] /heɪ/ /seθ/ /hu/ /hɪrθ/ /ðə/ /wɜrdz/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /hu/ /siθ/ /ðə/ /ˈvɪʒ(ə)n/ /əv/ /ði/ /ɔlˈmaɪti/ /fɔlɪŋ/ /daʊn/ /ænd/ /hævɪŋ/ /hɪz/ /aɪz/ /ˈoʊpən/
- [jnd] He
saith, who heareth the words of God, who seeth the vision of the
Almighty, who falleth down, and who hath his eyes open:
- [kjv] He
hath said, which heard the
words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a
trance, but having his eyes open:
- 24:5 [cbgb] 雅各阿、你的帳棚何等華美。以色列阿、你的帳幕何其華麗.
- [asv] How
goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, Thy tabernacles, O Israel!
- [snd] /haʊ/ /ˈɡʊdli/ /ɑr/ /ðaɪ/ /tents/ /oʊ/ /dʒeɪkəb/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈtæbərˌnæk(ə)lz/ /oʊ/ /aizriəl/
- [jnd] How
goodly are thy tents, Jacob, and thy tabernacles, Israel!
- [kjv] How
goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!
- [asv] As
valleys are they spread forth, As gardens by the river-side,
As
lign-aloes which Jehovah hath planted, As cedar-trees beside
the
waters.
- [snd] /æz/ /ˈvæliz/ /ɑr/ /ðeɪ/ /spred/ /fɔrθ/ /æz/ /ˈɡɑrd(ə)nz/ /baɪ/ /ðə/ /ˈrɪvər/ /saɪd/ /æz/ / /ælɔʊz/ /wɪtʃ/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /hæθ/ /plæntId/ /æz/ /ˈsidər/ /triz/ /bɪˈsaɪd/ /ðə/ /ˈwɔtərz/
- [jnd] Like
valleys are they spread
forth, like gardens by the river side, Like aloe-trees which Jehovah
hath planted, like cedars beside the waters.
- [kjv] As
the valleys are they spread
forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which
the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.
- [asv] Water
shall flow from his buckets, And his seed shall be in many
waters,
And his king shall be higher than Agag, And his
kingdom shall be
exalted.
- [snd] /ˈwɔtər/ /ʃæl/ /floʊ/ /frɑm/ /hɪz/ /ˈbʌkəts/ /ænd/ /hɪz/ /sid/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /ɪn/ /ˈmeni/ /ˈwɔtərz/ /ænd/ /hɪz/ /kɪŋ/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /ˈhaɪər/ /ðæn/ /eɪgæg/ /ænd/ /hɪz/ /ˈkɪŋdəm/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /ɪɡˈzɔltəd/
- [jnd] Water
shall flow out of his
buckets, and his seed shall be in great waters, And his king shall be
higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
- [kjv] He
shall pour the water out of
his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall
be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
- [asv] God
bringeth him forth out of Egypt; He hath as it were the
strength of
the wild-ox: He shall eat up the nations his adversaries,
And shall
break their bones in pieces, And smite them through with his
arrows.
- [snd] /ɡɑd/ /brɪŋθ/ /hɪm/ /fɔrθ/ /aʊt/ /əv/ /'i:dʒipt/ /heɪ/ /hæθ/ /æz/ /ɪt/ /wɜr/ /ðə/ /streŋθ/ /əv/ /ðə/ /waɪld/ /ɑks/ /heɪ/ /ʃæl/ /it/ /ʌp/ /ðə/ /ˈneɪʃ(ə)nz/ /hɪz/ /ˈædvərˌseriz/ /ænd/ /ʃæl/ /breɪk/ /ðer/ /boʊnz/ /ɪn/ /pisiz/ /ænd/ /smaɪt/ /ðem/ /θru/ /wɪð/ /hɪz/ /ˈæroʊz/
- [jnd] He
stooped, he lay down like a
lion, and like a lioness: who will stir him up? Blessed is he that
blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
- [kjv] God
brought him forth out of
Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up
the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them
through with his arrows.
- [asv] He
couched, he lay down as a lion, And as a lioness; who shall
rouse him
up? Blessed be every one that blesseth thee, And
cursed be every one
that curseth thee.
- [snd] /heɪ/ /kaʊtʃt/ /heɪ/ /leɪ/ /daʊn/ /æz/ /eɪ/ /ˈlaɪən/ /ænd/ /æz/ /eɪ/ /ˈlaɪənəs/ /hu/ /ʃæl/ /raʊz/ /hɪm/ /ʌp/ /ˈblesəd/ /bi/ /ˈevri/ /wʌn/ /ðæt/ /blesθ/ /θi/ /ænd/ /kɜrst/ /bi/ /ˈevri/ /wʌn/ /ðæt/ /kɜrsθ/ /θi/
- [jnd] Then
Balak's anger was kindled
against Balaam, and he smote his hands together; and Balak said to
Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and behold, thou hast
altogether blessed these three times!
- [kjv] He
couched, he lay down as a
lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that
blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.
- [asv] And
Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands
together; and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine
enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three
times.
- [snd] /ænd/ /beɪlæk/ /s/ /ˈæŋɡər/ /wɑz/ /ˈkɪnd(ə)ld/ /əˈɡenst/ /beɪləm/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /smoʊt/ /hɪz/ /hændz/ /təˈɡeðər/ /ænd/ /beɪlæk/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /beɪləm/ /aɪ/ /kɔld/ /θi/ /tu/ /kɜrs/ /maɪn/ /ˈenəmiz/ /ænd/ /bɪˈhoʊld/ /ðaʊ/ /hɑst/ /ˌɔltəˈɡeðər/ /ˈblesəd/ /ðem/ /ðiz/ /θri/ /taɪmz/
- [jnd] And
now flee thou to thy place; I said I would very highly honour thee, and
behold, Jehovah has kept thee back from honour.
- [kjv] And
Balak's anger was kindled
against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto
Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast
altogether blessed them these three times.
- [asv] Therefore
now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honor;
but, lo, Jehovah hath kept thee back from honor.
- [snd] /ˈðerfɔr/ /naʊ/ /fli/ /ðaʊ/ /tu/ /ðaɪ/ /pleɪs/ /aɪ/ /θɔt/ /tu/ /prəˈmoʊt/ /θi/ /ˈʌntu/ /ɡreɪt/ /ˈɑnər/ /bʌt/ /loʊ/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /hæθ/ /kept/ /θi/ /bæk/ /frɑm/ /ˈɑnər/
- [jnd] And
Balaam said to Balak, Did I not also speak to thy messengers whom thou
sentest to me, saying,
- [kjv] Therefore
now flee thou to thy
place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD
hath kept thee back from honour.
- [asv] And
Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers that thou
sentest unto me, saying,
- [snd] /ænd/ /beɪləm/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /beɪlæk/ /speɪk/ /aɪ/ /nɑt/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /tu/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈmesəndʒərz/ /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /sentst/ /ˈʌntu/ /mi/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/
- [jnd] If
Balak gave me his house
full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of
Jehovah to do good or bad out of my heart: what Jehovah shall say, that
will I speak?
- [kjv] And
Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou
sentest unto me, saying,
- [asv] If
Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go
beyond the word of Jehovah, to do either good or bad of mine own mind;
what Jehovah speaketh, that will I speak?
- [snd] /ɪf/ /beɪlæk/ /wʊd/ /ɡɪv/ /mi/ /hɪz/ /haʊs/ /fʊl/ /əv/ /ˈsɪlvər/ /ænd/ /ɡoʊld/ /aɪ/ /ˈkæˌnɑt/ /ɡoʊ/ /bɪˈjɑnd/ /ðə/ /wɜrd/ /əv/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /tu/ /du/ /ˈiðər/ /ɡʊd/ /ɔr/ /bæd/ /əv/ /maɪn/ /oʊn/ /maɪnd/ /wɑt/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /spikθ/ /ðæt/ /wɪl/ /aɪ/ /spik/
- [jnd] And
now behold, I go to my people: come, I will admonish thee what this
people will do to thy people at the end of days.
- [kjv] If
Balak would give me his
house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of
the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD
saith, that will I speak?
- [asv] And
now, behold, I go unto my people: come, and I will advertise thee what
this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.
- [snd] /ænd/ /naʊ/ /bɪˈhoʊld/ /aɪ/ /ɡoʊ/ /ˈʌntu/ /maɪ/ /ˈpip(ə)l/ /kʌm/ /ænd/ /aɪ/ /wɪl/ /ˈædvərˌtaɪz/ /θi/ /wɑt/ /ðɪs/ /ˈpip(ə)l/ /ʃæl/ /du/ /tu/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈpip(ə)l/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈlætər/ /deɪz/
- [jnd] And
he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor saith, and the
man of opened eye saith,
- [kjv] And
now, behold, I go unto my
people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people
shall do to thy people in the latter days.
- [asv] And
he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor
saith, And the man whose eye was closed saith;
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /tʊk/ /ʌp/ /hɪz/ /pærəbəl/ /ænd/ /sed/ /beɪləm/ /ðə/ /sʌn/ /əv/ /biɔr/ /seθ/ /ænd/ /ðə/ /mæn/ /huz/ /aɪ/ /wɑz/ /kloʊzd/ /seθ/
- [jnd] He
saith, who heareth the
words of God, who knoweth the knowledge of the Most High, Who seeth the
vision of the Almighty, who falleth down, and who hath his eyes open:
- [kjv] And
he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and
the man whose eyes are open hath said:
- 24:16 [cbgb] 得聽 神的言語、明白至高者的意旨、看見全能者的異象、眼目睜開而仆倒的人說、
- [asv] He
saith, who heareth the words of God, And knoweth the
knowledge of the
Most High, Who seeth the vision of the Almighty,
Falling down, and
having his eyes open:
- [snd] /heɪ/ /seθ/ /hu/ /hɪrθ/ /ðə/ /wɜrdz/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /ænd/ /noʊθ/ /ðə/ /ˈnɑlɪdʒ/ /əv/ /ðə/ /moʊst/ /haɪ/ /hu/ /siθ/ /ðə/ /ˈvɪʒ(ə)n/ /əv/ /ði/ /ɔlˈmaɪti/ /fɔlɪŋ/ /daʊn/ /ænd/ /hævɪŋ/ /hɪz/ /aɪz/ /ˈoʊpən/
- [jnd] I
shall see him, but not now;
I shall behold him, but not nigh: There cometh a Star out of Jacob, and
a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and he shall cut in pieces the
corners of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult.
- [kjv] He
hath said, which heard the
words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the
vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
- 24:17 [cbgb] 我看他卻不在現時、我望他卻不在近日.有星要出於雅各、有杖要興於以色列、必打破摩押的四角、毀壞擾亂之子。
- [asv] I
see him, but not now; I behold him, but not nigh:
There shall come
forth a star out of Jacob, And a sceptre shall rise out of
Israel,
And shall smite through the corners of Moab, And
break down all the
sons of tumult.
- [snd] /aɪ/ /si/ /hɪm/ /bʌt/ /nɑt/ /naʊ/ /aɪ/ /bɪˈhoʊld/ /hɪm/ /bʌt/ /nɑt/ /naɪ/ /ðer/ /ʃæl/ /kʌm/ /fɔrθ/ /eɪ/ /stɑr/ /aʊt/ /əv/ /dʒeɪkəb/ /ænd/ /eɪ/ /'septə/ /ʃæl/ /raɪz/ /aʊt/ /əv/ /aizriəl/ /ænd/ /ʃæl/ /smaɪt/ /θru/ /ði/ /ˈkɔrnərz/ /əv/ /'məuæb/ /ænd/ /breɪk/ /daʊn/ /ɔl/ /ðə/ /sʌnz/ /əv/ /ˈtuˌmʌlt/
- [jnd] And
Edom shall be a possession, and Seir a possession, -- they, his
enemies; but Israel will do valiantly.
- [kjv] I
shall see him, but not now:
I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob,
and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of
Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
- [asv] And
Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession,
who were his enemies; While Israel doeth valiantly.
- [snd] /ænd/ /'i:dəm/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /eɪ/ /pəˈzeʃ(ə)n/ /siər/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /eɪ/ /pəˈzeʃ(ə)n/ /hu/ /wɜr/ /hɪz/ /ˈenəmiz/ /waɪl/ /aizriəl/ /doʊθ/ /ˈvæliəntli/
- [jnd] And
one out of Jacob shall have dominion, and will destroy out of the city
what remaineth.
- [kjv] And
Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his
enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
- [asv] And
out of Jacob shall one have dominion, And shall destroy the
remnant from the city.
- [snd] /ænd/ /aʊt/ /əv/ /dʒeɪkəb/ /ʃæl/ /wʌn/ /hæv/ /dəˈmɪnjən/ /ænd/ /ʃæl/ /dɪˈstrɔɪ/ /ðə/ /remnənt/ /frɑm/ /ði/ /ˈsɪti/
- [jnd] And
he saw Amalek, and took up
his parable, and said, Amalek is the first of the nations, but his
latter end shall be for destruction.
- [kjv] Out
of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him
that remaineth of the city.
- [asv] And
he looked on Amalek, and took up his parable, and said,
Amalek was the
first of the nations; But his latter end shall come to
destruction.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /lʊkt/ /ɑn/ /'æməlek/ /ænd/ /tʊk/ /ʌp/ /hɪz/ /pærəbəl/ /ænd/ /sed/ /'æməlek/ /wɑz/ /ðə/ /fɜrst/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈneɪʃ(ə)nz/ /bʌt/ /hɪz/ /ˈlætər/ /end/ /ʃæl/ /kʌm/ /tu/ /dɪˈstrʌkʃ(ə)n/
- [jnd] And
he saw the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Firm is thy
dwelling-place, and thy nest fixed in the rock;
- [kjv] And
when he looked on Amalek,
he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations;
but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.
- [asv] And
he looked on the Kenite, and took up his parable, and said,
Strong is
thy dwelling-place, And thy nest is set in the rock.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /lʊkt/ /ɑn/ /ðə/ /keni t/ /ænd/ /tʊk/ /ʌp/ /hɪz/ /pærəbəl/ /ænd/ /sed/ /strɔŋ/ /ɪz/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈdwelɪŋ/ /pleɪs/ /ænd/ /ðaɪ/ /nest/ /ɪz/ /set/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /rɑk/
- [jnd] But
the Kenite shall be consumed, until Asshur shall carry thee away
captive.
- [kjv] And
he looked on the Kenites,
and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and
thou puttest thy nest in a rock.
- [asv] Nevertheless
Kain shall be wasted, Until Asshur shall carry thee away
captive.
- [snd] /ˌnevərðəˈles/ /kein/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /ˈweɪstəd/ /ənˈtɪl/ /æʃər/ /ʃæl/ /ˈkeri/ /θi/ /əˈweɪ/ /ˈkæptɪv/
- [jnd] And
he took up his parable, and said, Alas! Who shall live when God doeth
this?
- [kjv] Nevertheless
the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.
- [asv] And
he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when
God doeth this?
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /tʊk/ /ʌp/ /hɪz/ /pærəbəl/ /ænd/ /sed/ /əˈlæs/ /hu/ /ʃæl/ /lɪv/ /wen/ /ɡɑd/ /doʊθ/ /ðɪs/
- [jnd] And
ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and afflict Asshur, and
afflict Eber, and he also shall be for destruction.
- [kjv] And
he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth
this!
- [asv] But
ships shall come from the coast of Kittim, And they shall
afflict
Asshur, and shall afflict Eber; And he also shall come to
destruction.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /ʃɪps/ /ʃæl/ /kʌm/ /frɑm/ /ði/ /koʊst/ /əv/ /kaitim/ /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /ʃæl/ /əˈflɪkt/ /æʃər/ /ænd/ /ʃæl/ /əˈflɪkt/ /'i:bə/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ʃæl/ /kʌm/ /tu/ /dɪˈstrʌkʃ(ə)n/
- [jnd] And
Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went
his way.
- [kjv] And
ships shall come from the
coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and
he also shall perish for ever.

Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went
his way.

- [jnd]
- [kjv] And
Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went
his way.
