- [asv] Now
the Philistines gathered together all their hosts to Aphek: and the
Israelites encamped by the fountain which is in Jezreel.
- [snd] /naʊ/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /ˈɡæðərd/ /təˈɡeðər/ /ɔl/ /ðer/ /hoʊsts/ /tu/ /eɪ'fek/ /ænd/ /ði/ /'izriəlaits/ /ɪnˈkæmpt/ /baɪ/ /ðə/ /ˈfaʊnt(ə)n/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɪz/ /ɪn/ /dʒezriəl/
- [jnd] And
the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek; and Israel
encamped by the spring that is in Jizreel.
- [kjv] Now
the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the
Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.
- [asv] And
the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands;
and David and his men passed on in the rearward with Achish.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðə/ /lɔrdz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /ˈpæseɪd/ /ɑn/ /baɪ/ /ˈhʌndrədz/ /ænd/ /baɪ/ /ˈθaʊz(ə)ndz/ /ænd/ /'deivid/ /ænd/ /hɪz/ /men/ /ˈpæseɪd/ /ɑn/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈrɪrwərd/ /wɪð/ /eɪkiʃ/
- [jnd] And
the lords of the
Philistines passed on by hundreds and by thousands; and David and his
men passed on in the rearward with Achish.
- [kjv] And
the lords of the
Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his
men passed on in the rereward with Achish.
- [asv] Then
said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And
Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the
servant of Saul the king of Israel, who hath been with me these days,
or rather these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell
away unto me unto this day?
- [snd] /ðen/ /sed/ /ðə/ /prɪnsiz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /wɑt/ /du/ /ðiz/ /'hi:bru:z/ /hɪr/ /ænd/ /eɪkiʃ/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ /prɪnsiz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /ɪz/ /nɑt/ /ðɪs/ /'deivid/ /ðə/ /ˈsɜrvənt/ /əv/ /sæwl/ /ðə/ /kɪŋ/ /əv/ /aizriəl/ /hu/ /hæθ/ /bɪn/ /wɪð/ /mi/ /ðiz/ /deɪz/ /ɔr/ /ˈræðər/ /ðiz/ /jɪrz/ /ænd/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /faʊnd/ /nɔh/ /fɔlt/ /ɪn/ /hɪm/ /sɪns/ /heɪ/ /fel/ /əˈweɪ/ /ˈʌntu/ /mi/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðɪs/ /deɪ/
- [jnd] And
the princes of the
Philistines said, What are these Hebrews? And Achish said to the
princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the
king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or these years, and I
have found nothing in him since the day of his falling away to this day?
- [kjv] Then
said the princes of the
Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the
princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the
king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and
I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
- [asv] But
he princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of
the Philistines said unto him, Make the man return, that he may go back
to his place where thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down
with us to battle, lest in the battle he become an adversary to us: for
wherewith should this fellow reconcile himself unto his lord? should it
not be with the heads of these men?
- [snd] /bʌt/ /heɪ/ /prɪnsiz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /wɜr/ /ræwθ/ /wɪð/ /hɪm/ /ænd/ /ðə/ /prɪnsiz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/ /meɪk/ /ðə/ /mæn/ /rɪˈtɜrn/ /ðæt/ /heɪ/ /meɪ/ /ɡoʊ/ /bæk/ /tu/ /hɪz/ /pleɪs/ /wer/ /ðaʊ/ /hɑst/ /əˈpɔɪntəd/ /hɪm/ /ænd/ /let/ /hɪm/ /nɑt/ /ɡoʊ/ /daʊn/ /wɪð/ /ʌs/ /tu/ /ˈbæt(ə)l/ /lest/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈbæt(ə)l/ /heɪ/ /bɪˈkʌm/ /æn/ /ˈædvərˌseri/ /tu/ /ʌs/ /fɔr/ /wɛə'wiθ/ /ʃʊd/ /ðɪs/ /ˈfeloʊ/ /rekənsi l'/ /hɪmˈself/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪz/ /lɔrd/ /ʃʊd/ /ɪt/ /nɑt/ /bi/ /wɪð/ /ðə/ /hedz/ /əv/ /ðiz/ /men/
- [jnd] But
the princes of the
Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines
said to him, Make the man return, that he may go again to his place
where thou hast appointed him, that he go not down with us to the
battle, that in the battle he be not an adversary to us; for wherewith
should this reconcile himself to his master? should it not be with the
heads of these men?
- [kjv] And
the princes of the
Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines
said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his
place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to
battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith
should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the
heads of these men?
- [asv] Is
not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying,
Saul hath slain his thousands, And David his ten
thousands?
- [snd] /ɪz/ /nɑt/ /ðɪs/ /'deivid/ /əv/ /hum/ /ðeɪ/ /sæŋ/ /wʌn/ /tu/ /əˈnʌðər/ /ɪn/ /dænsiz/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /sæwl/ /hæθ/ /sleɪn/ /hɪz/ /ˈθaʊz(ə)ndz/ /ænd/ /'deivid/ /hɪz/ /ten/ /ˈθaʊz(ə)ndz/
- [jnd] Is
not this David, of whom
they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul smote his thousands,
and David his ten thousands?
- [kjv] Is
not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying,
Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
- [asv] Then
Achish called David, and said unto him, As Jehovah liveth, thou hast
been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host
is good in my sight; for I have not found evil in thee since the day of
thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favor thee not.
- [snd] /ðen/ /eɪkiʃ/ /kɔld/ /'deivid/ /ænd/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/ /æz/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /lɪvθ/ /ðaʊ/ /hɑst/ /bɪn/ /ˈʌpˌraɪt/ /ænd/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈɡoʊɪŋ/ /aʊt/ /ænd/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈkʌmɪŋ/ /ɪn/ /wɪð/ /mi/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /hoʊst/ /ɪz/ /ɡʊd/ /ɪn/ /maɪ/ /saɪt/ /fɔr/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /nɑt/ /faʊnd/ /ˈiv(ə)l/ /ɪn/ /θi/ /sɪns/ /ðə/ /deɪ/ /əv/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈkʌmɪŋ/ /ˈʌntu/ /mi/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðɪs/ /deɪ/ /ˌnevərðəˈles/ /ðə/ /lɔrdz/ /ˈfeɪvər/ /θi/ /nɑt/
- [jnd] And
Achish called David, and
said to him, Jehovah liveth, thou art upright, and thy going out and
thy coming in with me in the camp is acceptable to me; for I have not
found evil in thee since the day of thy coming to me to this day; but
thou art not acceptable to the lords.
- [kjv] Then
Achish called David, and
said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and
thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my
sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming
unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not.
- [asv] Wherefore
now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the
Philistines.
- [snd] /ˈwerfɔr/ /naʊ/ /rɪˈtɜrn/ /ænd/ /ɡoʊ/ /ɪn/ /pis/ /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /dɪsˈpliz/ /nɑt/ /ðə/ /lɔrdz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/
- [jnd] And
now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the
Philistines.
- [kjv] Wherefore
now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the
Philistines.
- [asv] And
David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found
in thy servant so long as I have been before thee unto this day, that I
may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
- [snd] /ænd/ /'deivid/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /eɪkiʃ/ /bʌt/ /wɑt/ /hæv/ /aɪ/ /dʌn/ /ænd/ /wɑt/ /hɑst/ /ðaʊ/ /faʊnd/ /ɪn/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈsɜrvənt/ /soʊ/ /lɔŋ/ /æz/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /bɪn/ /bɪˈfɔr/ /θi/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðɪs/ /deɪ/ /ðæt/ /aɪ/ /meɪ/ /nɑt/ /ɡoʊ/ /ænd/ /faɪt/ /əˈɡenst/ /ði/ /ˈenəmiz/ /əv/ /maɪ/ /lɔrd/ /ðə/ /kɪŋ/
- [jnd] And
David said to Achish, But
what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I
have been with thee to this day, that I should not go and fight against
the enemies of my lord the king?
- [kjv] And
David said unto Achish,
But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long
as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against
the enemies of my lord the king?
- [asv] And
Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my
sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the
Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
- [snd] /ænd/ /eɪkiʃ/ /ˈænsərd/ /ænd/ /sed/ /tu/ /'deivid/ /aɪ/ /noʊ/ /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /ɑrt/ /ɡʊd/ /ɪn/ /maɪ/ /saɪt/ /æz/ /æn/ /eɪnjəl/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /ˌnɑtwɪðˈstændɪŋ/ /ðə/ /prɪnsiz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /hæv/ /sed/ /heɪ/ /ʃæl/ /nɑt/ /ɡoʊ/ /ʌp/ /wɪð/ /ʌs/ /tu/ /ðə/ /ˈbæt(ə)l/
- [jnd] And
Achish answered and said
to David, I know that thou art acceptable to me, as an angel of God;
nevertheless the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go
up with us to the battle.
- [kjv] And
Achish answered and said
to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God:
notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not
go up with us to the battle.
- [asv] Wherefore
now rise up early in the morning with the servants of thy lord that are
come with thee; and as soon as ye are up early in the morning, and have
light, depart.
- [snd] /ˈwerfɔr/ /naʊ/ /raɪz/ /ʌp/ /ˈɜrli/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈmɔrnɪŋ/ /wɪð/ /ðə/ /ˈsɜrvənts/ /əv/ /ðaɪ/ /lɔrd/ /ðæt/ /ɑr/ /kʌm/ /wɪð/ /θi/ /ænd/ /æz/ /sun/ /æz/ /ji/ /ɑr/ /ʌp/ /ˈɜrli/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈmɔrnɪŋ/ /ænd/ /hæv/ /laɪt/ /dɪˈpɑrt/
- [jnd] And
now rise up early in the
morning with thy master's servants that are come with thee; and rise ye
early in the morning, and when ye have daylight, depart.
- [kjv] Wherefore
now rise up early in
the morning with thy master's servants that are come with thee: and as
soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.
- [asv] So
David rose up early, he and his men, to depart in the morning, to
return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to
Jezreel.
- [snd] /soʊ/ /'deivid/ /roʊz/ /ʌp/ /ˈɜrli/ /heɪ/ /ænd/ /hɪz/ /men/ /tu/ /dɪˈpɑrt/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈmɔrnɪŋ/ /tu/ /rɪˈtɜrn/ /ˈɪntu/ /ðə/ /lænd/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /ænd/ /ðə/ /ˈfɪlɪˌstinz/ /went/ /ʌp/ /tu/ /dʒezriəl/
- [jnd] And
David rose up early, he
and his men, to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the
Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jizreel.
- [kjv] So
David and his men rose up
early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the
Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
