- [asv] Now
the apostles and the brethren that were in Judaea heard that the
Gentiles also had received the word of God.
- [snd] /naʊ/ /ði/ /əˈpɑs(ə)lz/ /ænd/ /ðə/ /ˈbreðrən/ /ðæt/ /wɜr/ /ɪn/ /dʒu:'diə/ /hɜrd/ /ðæt/ /ðə/ /ˈdʒenˌtaɪlz/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /həd/ /rɪˈsivd/ /ðə/ /wɜrd/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/
- [jnd] And
the apostles and the brethren who were in Judaea heard that the nations
also had received the word of God;
- [kjv] And
the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles
had also received the word of God.
- [asv] And
when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision
contended with him,
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /pitər/ /wɑz/ /kʌm/ /ʌp/ /tu/ /jərusələm/ /ðeɪ/ /ðæt/ /wɜr/ /əv/ /ði/ /ˌsɜrkəmˈsɪʒ(ə)n/ /kənˈtendId/ /wɪð/ /hɪm/
- [jnd] and
when Peter went up to Jerusalem, they of the circumcision contended
with him,
- [kjv] And
when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision
contended with him,
- [asv] saying,
Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
- [snd] /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /ðaʊ/ /wentst/ /ɪn/ /tu/ /men/ d/ /ænd/ /dɪdst/ /it/ /wɪð/ /ðem/
- [jnd] saying,
Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised and hast eaten with them.
- [kjv] Saying,
Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
- [asv] But
Peter began, and expounded the matter unto them in order, saying,
- [snd] /bʌt/ /pitər/ /bɪˈɡæn/ /ænd/ /ɪkˈspaʊndId/ /ðə/ /ˈmætər/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðem/ /ɪn/ /ˈɔrdər/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/
- [jnd] But
Peter began and set forth to them in order, saying,
- [kjv] But
Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by
order unto them, saying,
- [asv] I
was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, a
certain vessel descending, as it were a great sheet let down from
heaven by four corners; and it came even unto me:
- [snd] /aɪ/ /wɑz/ /ɪn/ /ði/ /ˈsɪti/ /əv/ /dʒɔpə/ /preɪɪŋ/ /ænd/ /ɪn/ /eɪ/ /træns/ /aɪ/ /sɔ/ /eɪ/ /ˈvɪʒ(ə)n/ /eɪ/ /ˈsɜrt(ə)n/ /ˈves(ə)l/ /dɪˈsendɪŋ/ /æz/ /ɪt/ /wɜr/ /eɪ/ /ɡreɪt/ /ʃit/ /let/ /daʊn/ /frɑm/ /ˈhev(ə)n/ /baɪ/ /fɔr/ /ˈkɔrnərz/ /ænd/ /ɪt/ /keɪm/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /ˈʌntu/ /mi/
- [jnd] I
was in the city of Joppa
praying, and in an ecstasy I saw a vision, a certain vessel descending
like a great sheet, let down by four corners out of heaven, and it came
even to me:
- [kjv] I
was in the city of Joppa
praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as
it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it
came even to me:
- 11:6 [cbgb] 我定睛觀看、見內中有地上四足的牲畜、和野獸、昆蟲、並天上的飛鳥。
- [asv] upon
which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw the
fourfooted beasts of the earth and wild beasts and creeping things and
birds of the heaven.
- [snd] /əˈpɑn/ /wɪtʃ/ /wen/ /aɪ/ /həd/ /ˈfæs(ə)nd/ /maɪn/ /aɪz/ /aɪ/ /kənˈsɪdərd/ /ænd/ /sɔ/ /ðə/ d/ /bists/ /əv/ /ði/ /ɜrθ/ /ænd/ /waɪld/ /bists/ /ænd/ /ˈkripɪŋ/ /θɪŋz/ /ænd/ /bɜrdz/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈhev(ə)n/
- [jnd] on
which having fixed mine
eyes, I considered, and saw the quadrupeds of the earth, and the wild
beasts, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the heaven.
- [kjv] Upon
the which when I had
fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the
earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
- [asv] And
I heard also a voice saying unto me, Rise, Peter; kill and eat.
- [snd] /ænd/ /aɪ/ /hɜrd/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /eɪ/ /vɔɪs/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /ˈʌntu/ /mi/ /raɪz/ /pitər/ /kɪl/ /ænd/ /it/
- [jnd] And
I heard also a voice saying to me, Rise up, Peter, slay and eat.
- [kjv] And
I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
- [asv] But
I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath ever entered
into my mouth.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /aɪ/ /sed/ /nɑt/ /soʊ/ /lɔrd/ /fɔr/ /ˈnʌθɪŋ/ /ˈkɑmən/ /ɔr/ /ʌnˈklin/ /hæθ/ /ˈevər/ /ˈentərd/ /ˈɪntu/ /maɪ/ /maʊθ/
- [jnd] And
I said, In no wise, Lord, for common or unclean has never entered into
my mouth.
- [kjv] But
I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time
entered into my mouth.
- [asv] But
a voice answered the second time out of heaven, What God hath cleansed,
make not thou common.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /eɪ/ /vɔɪs/ /ˈænsərd/ /ðə/ /ˈsekənd/ /taɪm/ /aʊt/ /əv/ /ˈhev(ə)n/ /wɑt/ /ɡɑd/ /hæθ/ /klenzd/ /meɪk/ /nɑt/ /ðaʊ/ /ˈkɑmən/
- [jnd] And
a voice answered the second time out of heaven, What God has cleansed,
do not *thou* make common.
- [kjv] But
the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that
call not thou common.
- [asv] And
this was done thrice: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðɪs/ /wɑz/ /dʌn/ /θraɪs/ /ænd/ /ɔl/ /wɜr/ /drɔn/ /ʌp/ /əˈɡen/ /ˈɪntu/ /ˈhev(ə)n/
- [jnd] And
this took place thrice, and again all was drawn up into heaven;
- [kjv] And
this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
- [asv] And
behold, forthwith three men stood before the house in which we were,
having been sent from Caesarea unto me.
- [snd] /ænd/ /bɪˈhoʊld/ /fɔrθˈwɪθ/ /θri/ /men/ /stʊd/ /bɪˈfɔr/ /ðə/ /haʊs/ /ɪn/ /wɪtʃ/ /wi/ /wɜr/ /hævɪŋ/ /bɪn/ /sent/ /frɑm/ /ses'əri'ə/ /ˈʌntu/ /mi/
- [jnd] and
lo, immediately three men were at the house in which I was, sent to me
from Caesarea.
- [kjv] And,
behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house
where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.
- [asv] And
the Spirit bade me go with them, making no distinction. And these six
brethren also accompanied me; and we entered into the man's house:
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðə/ /ˈspɪrɪt/ /beɪd/ /mi/ /ɡoʊ/ /wɪð/ /ðem/ /ˈmeɪkɪŋ/ /nɔh/ /dɪˈstɪŋkʃ(ə)n/ /ænd/ /ðiz/ /sɪks/ /ˈbreðrən/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /əˈkʌmp(ə)nid/ /mi/ /ænd/ /wi/ /ˈentərd/ /ˈɪntu/ /ðə/ /mæn/ /s/ /haʊs/
- [jnd] And
the Spirit said to me to
go with them, nothing doubting. And there went with me these six
brethren also, and we entered into the house of the man,
- [kjv] And
the Spirit bade me go with
them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and
we entered into the man's house:
- 11:13 [cbgb] 那人就告訴我們、他如何看見一位天使、站在他屋裏、說、你打發人往約帕去、請那稱呼彼得的西門來.
- [asv] and
he told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying,
Send to Joppa, and fetch Simon, whose surname is Peter;
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /toʊld/ /ʌs/ /haʊ/ /heɪ/ /həd/ /sin/ /ði/ /eɪnjəl/ /ˈstændɪŋ/ /ɪn/ /hɪz/ /haʊs/ /ænd/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /send/ /tu/ /dʒɔpə/ /ænd/ /fetʃ/ /sai mən/ /huz/ /ˈsɜrˌneɪm/ /ɪz/ /pitər/
- [jnd] and
he related to us how he
had seen the angel in his house, standing and saying , Send to Joppa
and fetch Simon, who is surnamed Peter,
- [kjv] And
he shewed us how he had
seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to
Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
- [asv] who
shall speak unto thee words, whereby thou shalt be saved, thou and all
thy house.
- [snd] /hu/ /ʃæl/ /spik/ /ˈʌntu/ /θi/ /wɜrdz/ /werˈbaɪ/ /ðaʊ/ /ʃælt/ /bi/ /seɪvd/ /ðaʊ/ /ænd/ /ɔl/ /ðaɪ/ /haʊs/
- [jnd] who
shall speak words to thee whereby *thou* shalt be saved, thou and all
thy house.
- [kjv] Who
shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
- [asv] And
as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the
beginning.
- [snd] /ænd/ /æz/ /aɪ/ /bɪˈɡæn/ /tu/ /spik/ /ðə/ /ˈhoʊli/ /ˈspɪrɪt/ /fel/ /ɑn/ /ðem/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /æz/ /ɑn/ /ʌs/ /æt/ /ðə/ /bɪˈɡɪnɪŋ/
- [jnd] And
as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them even as upon us
also at the beginning.
- [kjv] And
as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the
beginning.
- [asv] And
I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, John indeed baptized
with water; but ye shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
- [snd] /ænd/ /aɪ/ /rɪˈmembərd/ /ðə/ /wɜrd/ /əv/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/ /haʊ/ /heɪ/ /sed/ /dʒɔn/ /ɪnˈdid/ /bæpˈtaɪzd/ /wɪð/ /ˈwɔtər/ /bʌt/ /ji/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /bæpˈtaɪzd/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈhoʊli/ /ˈspɪrɪt/
- [jnd] And
I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, John baptised with
water, but *ye* shall be baptised with Holy Spirit.
- [kjv] Then
remembered I the word of
the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye
shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
- [asv] If
then God gave unto them the like gift as he did also unto us, when we
believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand
God?
- [snd] /ɪf/ /ðen/ /ɡɑd/ /ɡeɪv/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðem/ /ðə/ /laɪk/ /ɡɪft/ /æz/ /heɪ/ /dɪd/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ˈʌntu/ /ʌs/ /wen/ /wi/ /bɪˈlivd/ /ɑn/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/ /ji'zəs/ /krai st/ /hu/ /wɑz/ /aɪ/ /ðæt/ /aɪ/ /kʊd/ /wɪðˈstænd/ /ɡɑd/
- [jnd] If
then God has given them the
same gift as also to us when we had believed on the Lord Jesus Christ,
who indeed was *I* to be able to forbid God?
- [kjv] Forasmuch
then as God gave
them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus
Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
- [asv] And
when they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God,
saying, Then to the Gentiles also hath God granted repentance unto life.
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /ðeɪ/ /hɜrd/ /ðiz/ /θɪŋz/ /ðeɪ/ /held/ /ðer/ /pis/ /ænd/ /ˈɡlɔrəˌfaɪd/ /ɡɑd/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /ðen/ /tu/ /ðə/ /ˈdʒenˌtaɪlz/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /hæθ/ /ɡɑd/ /ˈɡræntəd/ /rɪˈpentəns/ /ˈʌntu/ /laɪf/
- [jnd] And
when they heard these
things they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then indeed
God has to the nations also granted repentance to life.
- [kjv] When
they heard these things,
they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to
the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
- [asv] They
therefore that were scattered abroad upon the tribulation that arose
about Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch,
speaking the word to none save only to Jews.
- [snd] /ðeɪ/ /ˈðerfɔr/ /ðæt/ /wɜr/ /ˈskætərd/ /əˈbrɔd/ /əˈpɑn/ /ðə/ /ˌtrɪbjəˈleɪʃ(ə)n/ /ðæt/ /əˈroʊz/ /əˈbaʊt/ /stevən/ /ˈtræv(ə)ld/ /æz/ /fɑr/ /æz/ /fi'niʃə/ /ænd/ /sai prəs/ /ænd/ /æntiɔk/ /spikɪŋ/ /ðə/ /wɜrd/ /tu/ /nʌn/ /seɪv/ /ˈoʊnli/ /tu/ /
- [jnd] They
then who had been
scattered abroad through the tribulation that took place on the
occasion of Stephen, passed through to Phoenicia and Cyprus and
Antioch, speaking the word to no one but to Jews alone.
- [kjv] Now
they which were scattered
abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far
as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but
unto the Jews only.
- [asv] But
there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they were
come to Antioch, spake unto the Greeks also, preaching the Lord Jesus.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /ðer/ /wɜr/ /sʌm/ /əv/ /ðem/ /men/ /əv/ /sai prəs/ /ænd/ /si rini/ /hu/ /wen/ /ðeɪ/ /wɜr/ /kʌm/ /tu/ /æntiɔk/ /speɪk/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ / /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /pritʃɪŋ/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/ /ji'zəs/
- [jnd] But
there were certain of
them, Cyprians and Cyrenians, who entering into Antioch spoke to the
Greeks also, announcing the glad tidings of the Lord Jesus.
- [kjv] And
some of them were men of
Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto
the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus.
- [asv] And
the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number that believed
turned unto the Lord.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðə/ /hænd/ /əv/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/ /wɑz/ /wɪð/ /ðem/ /ænd/ /eɪ/ /ɡreɪt/ /ˈnʌmbər/ /ðæt/ /bɪˈlivd/ /tɜrnd/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/
- [jnd] And
Lord's hand was with them, and a great number believed and turned to
the Lord.
- [kjv] And
the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and
turned unto the Lord.
- [asv] And
the report concerning them came to the ears of the church which was in
Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas as far as Antioch:
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðə/ /rɪˈpɔrt/ /kənˈsɜrnɪŋ/ /ðem/ /keɪm/ /tu/ /ði/ /ɪrz/ /əv/ /ði/ /tʃɜrtʃ/ /wɪtʃ/ /wɑz/ /ɪn/ /jərusələm/ /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /sent/ /fɔrθ/ /bæhrnəbəs/ /æz/ /fɑr/ /æz/ /æntiɔk/
- [jnd] And
the report concerning them
reached the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem, and they sent
out Barnabas to go through as far as Antioch:
- [kjv] Then
tidings of these things
came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent
forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
- [asv] who,
when he was come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad; and he
exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto
the Lord:
- [snd] /hu/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /kʌm/ /ænd/ /həd/ /sin/ /ðə/ /ɡreɪs/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /wɑz/ /ɡlæd/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /ɪɡˈzɔrtId/ /ðem/ /ɔl/ /ðæt/ /wɪð/ /ˈpɜrpəs/ /əv/ /hɑrt/ /ðeɪ/ /wʊd/ /kliv/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/
- [jnd] who,
having arrived and seeing the grace of God, rejoiced, and exhorted all
with purpose of heart to abide with the Lord;
- [kjv] Who,
when he came, and had
seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with
purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
- [asv] for
he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and much
people was added unto the Lord.
- [snd] /fɔr/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /eɪ/ /ɡʊd/ /mæn/ /ænd/ /fʊl/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈhoʊli/ /ˈspɪrɪt/ /ænd/ /əv/ /feɪθ/ /ænd/ /mʌtʃ/ /ˈpip(ə)l/ /wɑz/ /ˈædəd/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/
- [jnd] for
he was a good man and full of Holy Spirit and of faith; and a large
crowd were added to the Lord.
- [kjv] For
he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much
people was added unto the Lord.
- 11:25 [cbgb]
- [asv] And
he went forth to Tarsus to seek for Saul;
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /went/ /fɔrθ/ /tu/ /tæhrsəs/ /tu/ /sik/ /fɔr/ /sæwl/
- [jnd] And
he went away to Tarsus to seek out Saul.
- [kjv] Then
departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
- 11:26 [cbgb] 找著了、就帶他到安提阿去。他們足有一年的工夫、和教會一同聚集、教訓了許多人.門徒稱為基督徒、是從安提阿起首。
- [asv] and
when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to
pass, that even for a whole year they were gathered together with the
church, and taught much people, and that the disciples were called
Christians first in Antioch.
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /həd/ /faʊnd/ /hɪm/ /heɪ/ /brɔt/ /hɪm/ /ˈʌntu/ /æntiɔk/ /ænd/ /ɪt/ /keɪm/ /tu/ /pæs/ /ðæt/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /fɔr/ /eɪ/ /hoʊl/ /jɪr/ /ðeɪ/ /wɜr/ /ˈɡæðərd/ /təˈɡeðər/ /wɪð/ /ði/ /tʃɜrtʃ/ /ænd/ /tɔt/ /mʌtʃ/ /ˈpip(ə)l/ /ænd/ /ðæt/ /ðə/ /dɪˈsaɪp(ə)lz/ /wɜr/ /kɔld/ /'kristʃənz/ /fɜrst/ /ɪn/ /æntiɔk/
- [jnd] And
having found , he brought
him to Antioch. And so it was with them that for a whole year they were
gathered together in the assembly and taught a large crowd: and the
disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
- [kjv] And
when he had found him, he
brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they
assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the
disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
- [asv] Now
in these days there came down prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
- [snd] /naʊ/ /ɪn/ /ðiz/ /deɪz/ /ðer/ /keɪm/ /daʊn/ /ˈprɑfɪts/ /frɑm/ /jərusələm/ /ˈʌntu/ /æntiɔk/
- [jnd] Now
in these days prophets went down from Jerusalem to Antioch;
- [kjv] And
in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
- [asv] And
there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit
that there should be a great famine over all the world: which came to
pass in the days of Claudius.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðer/ /stʊd/ /ʌp/ /wʌn/ /əv/ /ðem/ /neɪmd/ /ægəbəs/ /ænd/ d/ /baɪ/ /ðə/ /ˈspɪrɪt/ /ðæt/ /ðer/ /ʃʊd/ /bi/ /eɪ/ /ɡreɪt/ /ˈfæmɪn/ /ˈoʊvər/ /ɔl/ /ðə/ /wɜrld/ /wɪtʃ/ /keɪm/ /tu/ /pæs/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /deɪz/ /əv/ /klæwdiəs/
- [jnd] and
one from among them, by
name Agabus, rose up and signified by the Spirit that there was going
to be a great famine over all the inhabited earth, which also came to
pass under Claudius.
- [kjv] And
there stood up one of them
named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great
dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of
Claudius Caesar.
- [asv] And
the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send
relief unto the brethren that dwelt in Judea:
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðə/ /dɪˈsaɪp(ə)lz/ /ˈevri/ /mæn/ /əˈkɔrdɪŋ/ /tu/ /hɪz/ /əˈbɪləti/ /dɪˈtɜrmɪnd/ /tu/ /send/ /rɪˈlif/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ /ˈbreðrən/ /ðæt/ /dwelt/ /ɪn/ /judiə/
- [jnd] And
they determined, according
as any one of the disciples was well off, each of them to send to the
brethren who dwelt in Judaea, to minister ;
- [kjv] Then
the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send
relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
- 11:30 [cbgb] 他們就這樣行、把捐項託巴拿巴和掃羅、送到眾長老那裏。
- [asv] which
also they did, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and
Saul.
- [snd] /wɪtʃ/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ðeɪ/ /dɪd/ /sendɪŋ/ /ɪt/ /tu/ /ði/ /ˈeldərz/ /baɪ/ /ðə/ /hænd/ /əv/ /bæhrnəbəs/ /ænd/ /sæwl/
- [jnd] which
also they did, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and
Saul.
- [kjv] Which
also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and
Saul.
