- [asv] And
he spake unto them this parable, saying,
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /speɪk/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðem/ /ðɪs/ /pærəbəl/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/
- [jnd] And
he spoke to them this parable, saying,
- [kjv] And
he spake this parable unto them, saying,
- [asv] What
man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, doth
not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that
which is lost, until he find it?
- [snd] /wɑt/ /mæn/ /əv/ /ju/ /hævɪŋ/ /eɪ/ /ˈhʌndrəd/ /ʃip/ /ænd/ /hævɪŋ/ /lɔst/ /wʌn/ /əv/ /ðem/ /dʌθ/ /nɑt/ /liv/ /ðə/ /ˈnaɪnti/ /ænd/ /naɪn/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈwɪldərnəs/ /ænd/ /ɡoʊ/ /ˈæftər/ /ðæt/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɪz/ /lɔst/ /ənˈtɪl/ /heɪ/ /faɪnd/ /ɪt/
- [jnd] What
man of you having a
hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety
and nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost, until he
find it?
- [kjv] What
man of you, having an
hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and
nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find
it?
- [asv] And
when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /hæθ/ /faʊnd/ /ɪt/ /heɪ/ /leɪθ/ /ɪt/ /ɑn/ /hɪz/ /ˈʃoʊldərz/ /rɪˈdʒɔɪsɪŋ/
- [jnd] and
having found it, he lays it upon his own shoulders, rejoicing;
- [kjv] And
when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
- [asv] And
when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and his neighbors,
saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was
lost.
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /kʌmθ/ /hoʊm/ /heɪ/ /kɔlθ/ /təˈɡeðər/ /hɪz/ /frendz/ /ænd/ /hɪz/ /ˈneɪbərz/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðem/ /rɪˈdʒɔɪs/ /wɪð/ /mi/ /fɔr/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /faʊnd/ /maɪ/ /ʃip/ /wɪtʃ/ /wɑz/ /lɔst/

being come to the house,
calls together the friends and the neighbours, saying to them, Rejoice
with me, for I have found my lost sheep.
- [kjv] And
when he cometh home, he
calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice
with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
- [asv] I
say unto you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner
that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who
need no repentance.
- [snd] /aɪ/ /seɪ/ /ˈʌntu/ /ju/ /ðæt/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /soʊ/ /ðer/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /dʒɔɪ/ /ɪn/ /ˈhev(ə)n/ /ˈoʊvər/ /wʌn/ /ˈsɪnər/ /ðæt/ /rɪˈpentθ/ /mɔr/ /ðæn/ /ˈoʊvər/ /ˈnaɪnti/ /ænd/ /naɪn/ /rai tʃəs/ /ˈpɜrs(ə)nz/ /hu/ /nid/ /nɔh/ /rɪˈpentəns/
- [jnd] I
say unto you, that thus
there shall be joy in heaven for one repenting sinner, than for ninety
and nine righteous who have no need of repentance.
- [kjv] I
say unto you, that likewise
joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over
ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- [asv] Or
what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not
light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek diligently until she find
it?
- [snd] /ɔr/ /wɑt/ /ˈwʊmən/ /hævɪŋ/ /ten/ /pisiz/ /əv/ /ˈsɪlvər/ /ɪf/ /ʃi/ /luz/ /wʌn/ /pis/ /dʌθ/ /nɑt/ /laɪt/ /eɪ/ /læmp/ /ænd/ /swip/ /ðə/ /haʊs/ /ænd/ /sik/ /ˈdɪlɪdʒəntli/ /ənˈtɪl/ /ʃi/ /faɪnd/ /ɪt/
- [jnd] Or,
what woman having ten
drachmas, if she lose one drachma, does not light a lamp and sweep the
house and seek carefully till she find it?
- [kjv] Either
what woman having ten
pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and
sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
- [asv] And
when she hath found it, she calleth together her friends and neighbors,
saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost.
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /ʃi/ /hæθ/ /faʊnd/ /ɪt/ /ʃi/ /kɔlθ/ /təˈɡeðər/ /hɜr/ /frendz/ /ænd/ /ˈneɪbərz/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /rɪˈdʒɔɪs/ /wɪð/ /mi/ /fɔr/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /faʊnd/ /ðə/ /pis/ /wɪtʃ/ /aɪ/ /həd/ /lɔst/
- [jnd] and
having found it she calls
together the friends and neighbours, saying, Rejoice with me, for I
have found the drachma which I had lost.
- [kjv] And
when she hath found it,
she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice
with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
- [asv] Even
so, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God
over one sinner that repenteth.
- [snd] /ˈiv(ə)n/ /soʊ/ /aɪ/ /seɪ/ /ˈʌntu/ /ju/ /ðer/ /ɪz/ /dʒɔɪ/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈprezəns/ /əv/ /ði/ /ˈeɪndʒəlz/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /ˈoʊvər/ /wʌn/ /ˈsɪnər/ /ðæt/ /rɪˈpentθ/
- [jnd] Thus,
I say unto you, there is joy before the angels of God for one repenting
sinner.
- [kjv] Likewise,
I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over
one sinner that repenteth.
- 15:11 [cbgb]
- [asv] And
he said, A certain man had two sons:
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /sed/ /eɪ/ /ˈsɜrt(ə)n/ /mæn/ /həd/ /tu/ /sʌnz/
- [jnd] And
he said, A certain man had two sons;
- [kjv] And
he said, A certain man had two sons:
- 15:12 [cbgb] 小兒子對父親說、父親、請你把我應得的家業分給我.他父親就把產業分給他們。
- [asv] and
the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of
thy substance that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ði/ /ˈjʌŋɡər/ /əv/ /ðem/ /sed/ /tu/ /hɪz/ /ˈfɑðər/ /ˈfɑðər/ /ɡɪv/ /mi/ /ðə/ /ˈpɔrʃ(ə)n/ /əv/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈsʌbstəns/ /ðæt/ /fɔlθ/ /tu/ /mi/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /dɪˈvaɪdɪd/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðem/ /hɪz/ /ˈlɪvɪŋ/
- [jnd] and
the younger of them said
to his father, Father, give to me the share of the property that falls
. And he divided to them what he was possessed of.
- [kjv] And
the younger of them said
to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me.
And he divided unto them his living.
- [asv] And
not many days after, the younger son gathered all together and took his
journey into a far country; and there he wasted his substance with
riotous living.
- [snd] /ænd/ /nɑt/ /ˈmeni/ /deɪz/ /ˈæftər/ /ði/ /ˈjʌŋɡər/ /sʌn/ /ˈɡæðərd/ /ɔl/ /təˈɡeðər/ /ænd/ /tʊk/ /hɪz/ /ˈdʒɜrni/ /ˈɪntu/ /eɪ/ /fɑr/ /ˈkʌntri/ /ænd/ /ðer/ /heɪ/ /ˈweɪstəd/ /hɪz/ /ˈsʌbstəns/ /wɪð/ /ˈraɪətəs/ /ˈlɪvɪŋ/
- [jnd] And
after not many days the
younger son gathering all together went away into a country a long way
off, and there dissipated his property, living in debauchery.
- [kjv] And
not many days after the
younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far
country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
- [asv] And
when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country; and
he began to be in want.
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /həd/ /spent/ /ɔl/ /ðer/ /əˈroʊz/ /eɪ/ /ˈmaɪti/ /ˈfæmɪn/ /ɪn/ /ðæt/ /ˈkʌntri/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /bɪˈɡæn/ /tu/ /bi/ /ɪn/ /wɑnt/
- [jnd] But
when he had spent all there arose a violent famine throughout that
country, and he began to be in want.
- [kjv] And
when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he
began to be in want.
- [asv] And
he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country; and
he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /went/ /ænd/ /dʒɔɪnd/ /hɪmˈself/ /tu/ /wʌn/ /əv/ /ði/ /ˈsɪtɪz(ə)nz/ /əv/ /ðæt/ /ˈkʌntri/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /sent/ /hɪm/ /ˈɪntu/ /hɪz/ /fildz/ /tu/ /fid/ /swaɪn/
- [jnd] And
he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and
he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
- [kjv] And
he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent
him into his fields to feed swine.
- [asv] And
he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did
eat: and no man gave unto him.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /wʊd/ /feɪn/ /hæv/ /fɪld/ /hɪz/ /ˈbeli/ /wɪð/ /ðə/ /hʌsks/ /ðæt/ /ðə/ /swaɪn/ /dɪd/ /it/ /ænd/ /nɔh/ /mæn/ /ɡeɪv/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/
- [jnd] And
he longed to fill his belly with the husks which the swine were eating;
and no one gave to him.
- [kjv] And
he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did
eat: and no man gave unto him.
- [asv] But
when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father's
have bread enough and to spare, and I perish here with hunger!
- [snd] /bʌt/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /keɪm/ /tu/ /hɪmˈself/ /heɪ/ /sed/ /haʊ/ /ˈmeni/ /ˈhaɪrd/ /ˈsɜrvənts/ /əv/ /maɪ/ /ˈfɑðər/ /s/ /hæv/ /bred/ /ɪˈnʌf/ /ænd/ /tu/ /sper/ /ænd/ /aɪ/ /ˈperɪʃ/ /hɪr/ /wɪð/ /ˈhʌŋɡər/
- [jnd] And
coming to himself, he
said, How many hired servants of my father's have abundance of bread,
and *I* perish here by famine.
- [kjv] And
when he came to himself,
he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and
to spare, and I perish with hunger!
- [asv] I
will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have
sinned against heaven, and in thy sight:
- [snd] /aɪ/ /wɪl/ /əˈraɪz/ /ænd/ /ɡoʊ/ /tu/ /maɪ/ /ˈfɑðər/ /ænd/ /wɪl/ /seɪ/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/ /ˈfɑðər/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /sɪnd/ /əˈɡenst/ /ˈhev(ə)n/ /ænd/ /ɪn/ /ðaɪ/ /saɪt/
- [jnd] I
will rise up and go to my father, and I will say to him, Father, I have
sinned against heaven and before thee;
- [kjv] I
will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have
sinned against heaven, and before thee,
- [asv] I
am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of thy hired
servants.
- [snd] /aɪ/ /ɑm'/ /nɔh/ /mɔr/ /ˈwɜrði/ /tu/ /bi/ /kɔld/ /jʊr/ /sʌn/ /meɪk/ /mi/ /æz/ /wʌn/ /əv/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈhaɪrd/ /ˈsɜrvənts/
- [jnd] I
am no longer worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired
servants.
- [kjv] And
am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired
servants.
- [asv] And
he arose, and came to his father. But while he was yet afar off, his
father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his
neck, and kissed him.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /əˈroʊz/ /ænd/ /keɪm/ /tu/ /hɪz/ /ˈfɑðər/ /bʌt/ /waɪl/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /jet/ /əˈfɑr/ /ɔf/ /hɪz/ /ˈfɑðər/ /sɔ/ /hɪm/ /ænd/ /wɑz/ /muvd/ /wɪð/ /kəmˈpæʃ(ə)n/ /ænd/ /ræn/ /ænd/ /fel/ /ɑn/ /hɪz/ /nek/ /ænd/ /kɪst/ /hɪm/
- [jnd] And
he rose up and went to his
own father. But while he was yet a long way off, his father saw him,
and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell upon his neck, and
covered him with kisses.
- [kjv] And
he arose, and came to his
father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and
had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
- [asv] And
the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy
sight: I am no more worthy to be called thy son.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðə/ /sʌn/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/ /ˈfɑðər/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /sɪnd/ /əˈɡenst/ /ˈhev(ə)n/ /ænd/ /ɪn/ /ðaɪ/ /saɪt/ /aɪ/ /ɑm'/ /nɔh/ /mɔr/ /ˈwɜrði/ /tu/ /bi/ /kɔld/ /ðaɪ/ /sʌn/
- [jnd] And
the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before
thee; I am no longer worthy to be called thy son.
- [kjv] And
the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy
sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
- [asv] But
the father said to his servants, Bring forth quickly the best robe, and
put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
- [snd] /bʌt/ /ðə/ /ˈfɑðər/ /sed/ /tu/ /hɪz/ /ˈsɜrvənts/ /brɪŋ/ /fɔrθ/ /ˈkwɪkli/ /ðə/ /best/ /roʊb/ /ænd/ /put/ /ɪt/ /ɑn/ /hɪm/ /ænd/ /put/ /eɪ/ /rɪŋ/ /ɑn/ /hɪz/ /hænd/ /ænd/ /ʃuz/ /ɑn/ /hɪz/ /fit/
- [jnd] But
the father said to his
bondmen, Bring out the best robe and clothe him in , and put a ring on
his hand and sandals on his feet;
- [kjv] But
the father said to his
servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring
on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
- 15:23 [cbgb] 把那肥牛犢牽來宰了、我們可以吃喝快樂.
- [asv] and
bring the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat, and make merry:
- [snd] /ænd/ /brɪŋ/ /ðə/ /fætId/ /kæf/ /ænd/ /kɪl/ /ɪt/ /ænd/ /let/ /ʌs/ /it/ /ænd/ /meɪk/ /ˈmeri/
- [jnd] and
bring the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and make merry:
- [kjv] And
bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
- 15:24 [cbgb] 因為我這個兒子、是死而復活、失而又得的。他們就快樂起來。
- [asv] for
this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.
And they began to be merry.
- [snd] /fɔr/ /ðɪs/ /maɪ/ /sʌn/ /wɑz/ /ded/ /ænd/ /ɪz/ /əˈlaɪv/ /əˈɡen/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /lɔst/ /ænd/ /ɪz/ /faʊnd/ /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /bɪˈɡæn/ /tu/ /bi/ /ˈmeri/
- [jnd] for
this my son was dead and has come to life, was lost and has been found.
And they began to make merry.
- [kjv] For
this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.
And they began to be merry.
- [asv] Now
his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the
house, he heard music and dancing.
- [snd] /naʊ/ /hɪz/ /ˈeldər/ /sʌn/ /wɑz/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /fild/ /ænd/ /æz/ /heɪ/ /keɪm/ /ænd/ /dru/ /naɪ/ /tu/ /ðə/ /haʊs/ /heɪ/ /hɜrd/ /ˈmjuzɪk/ /ænd/ /ˈdænsɪŋ/
- [jnd] And
his elder son was in the field; and as, coming , he drew nigh to the
house, he heard music and dancing.
- [kjv] Now
his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the
house, he heard musick and dancing.
- 15:26 [cbgb]
- [asv] And
he called to him one of the servants, and inquired what these things
might be.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /kɔld/ /tu/ /hɪm/ /wʌn/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈsɜrvənts/ /ænd/ /ɪnˈkwaɪrd/ /wɑt/ /ðiz/ /θɪŋz/ /maɪt/ /bi/
- [jnd] And
having called one of the servants, he inquired what these things might
be.
- [kjv] And
he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
- [asv] And
he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the
fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈbrʌðər/ /ɪz/ /kʌm/ /ænd/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈfɑðər/ /hæθ/ /kɪld/ /ðə/ /fætId/ /kæf/ /bɪˈkɔz/ /heɪ/ /hæθ/ /rɪˈsivd/ /hɪm/ /seɪf/ /ænd/ /saʊnd/
- [jnd] And
he said to him, Thy
brother is come, and thy father has killed the fatted calf because he
has received him safe and well.
- [kjv] And
he said unto him, Thy
brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he
hath received him safe and sound.
- [asv] But
he was angry, and would not go in: and his father came out, and
entreated him.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /ˈæŋɡri/ /ænd/ /wʊd/ /nɑt/ /ɡoʊ/ /ɪn/ /ænd/ /hɪz/ /ˈfɑðər/ /keɪm/ /aʊt/ /ænd/ /ɪnˈtritId/ /hɪm/
- [jnd] But
he became angry and would not go in. And his father went out and
besought him.
- [kjv] And
he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and
intreated him.
- [asv] But
he answered and said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve
thee, and I never transgressed a commandment of thine; and yet thou
never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
- [snd] /bʌt/ /heɪ/ /ˈænsərd/ /ænd/ /sed/ /tu/ /hɪz/ /ˈfɑðər/ /loʊ/ /ðiz/ /ˈmeni/ /jɪrz/ /du/ /aɪ/ /sɜrv/ /θi/ /ænd/ /aɪ/ /ˈnevər/ /trænzˈɡrest/ /eɪ/ /kəˈmæn(d)mənt/ /əv/ /θai n/ /ænd/ /jet/ /ðaʊ/ /ˈnevər/ /ɡeɪvst/ /mi/ /eɪ/ /kɪd/ /ðæt/ /aɪ/ /maɪt/ /meɪk/ /ˈmeri/ /wɪð/ /maɪ/ /frendz/
- [jnd] But
he answering said to his
father, Behold, so many years I serve thee, and never have I
transgressed a commandment of thine; and to me hast thou never given a
kid that I might make merry with my friends:
- [kjv] And
he answering said to his
father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at
any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I
might make merry with my friends:
- 15:30 [cbgb] 但你這個兒子、和娼妓吞盡了你的產業、他一來了、你倒為他宰了肥牛犢。
- [asv] but
when this thy son came, who hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou
killedst for him the fatted calf.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /wen/ /ðɪs/ /ðaɪ/ /sʌn/ /keɪm/ /hu/ /hæθ/ /dɪˈvaʊrd/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈlɪvɪŋ/ /wɪð/ /ˈhɑrləts/ /ðaʊ/ /kɪldst/ /fɔr/ /hɪm/ /ðə/ /fætId/ /kæf/
- [jnd] but
when this thy son, who has devoured thy substance with harlots, is
come, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
- [kjv] But
as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with
harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
- [asv] And
he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that is mine is
thine.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/ /sʌn/ /ðaʊ/ /ɑrt/ /ˈevər/ /wɪð/ /mi/ /ænd/ /ɔl/ /ðæt/ /ɪz/ /maɪn/ /ɪz/ /θai n/
- [jnd] But
he said to him, Child, *thou* art ever with me, and all that is mine is
thine.
- [kjv] And
he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is
thine.
- [asv] But
it was meet to make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead,
and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /ɪt/ /wɑz/ /mit/ /tu/ /meɪk/ /ˈmeri/ /ænd/ /bi/ /ɡlæd/ /fɔr/ /ðɪs/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈbrʌðər/ /wɑz/ /ded/ /ænd/ /ɪz/ /əˈlaɪv/ /əˈɡen/ /ænd/ /wɑz/ /lɔst/ /ænd/ /ɪz/ /faʊnd/
- [jnd] But
it was right to make merry
and rejoice, because this thy brother was dead and has come to life
again, and was lost and has been found.
- [kjv] It
was meet that we should
make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive
again; and was lost, and is found.
