- [asv] But
the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what had been done to her,
came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

- [asv] And
he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in
peace, and be whole of thy plague.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɜr/ /ˈdɔtər/ /ðaɪ/ /feɪθ/ /hæθ/ /meɪd/ /θi/ /hoʊl/ /ɡoʊ/ /ɪn/ /pis/ /ænd/ /bi/ /hoʊl/ /əv/ /ðaɪ/ /pleɪɡ/

he said to her, Daughter, thy faith has healed thee; go in peace, and
be well of thy scourge.
- [kjv] And
he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in
peace, and be whole of thy plague.
- [asv] While
he yet spake, they come from the ruler of the synagogue's house saying,
Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Teacher any further?
- [snd] /waɪl/ /heɪ/ /jet/ /speɪk/ /ðeɪ/ /kʌm/ /frɑm/ /ðə/ /ˈrulər/ /əv/ /ðə/ /sainəgɔg/ /s/ /haʊs/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈdɔtər/ /ɪz/ /ded/ /waɪ/ /ˈtrʌb(ə)lst/ /ðaʊ/ /ðə/ /ˈtitʃər/ /ˈeni/ /ˈfɜrðər/

- [asv] But
Jesus, not heeding the word spoken, saith unto the ruler of the
synagogue, Fear not, only believe.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /ji'zəs/ /nɑt/ /hidɪŋ/ /ðə/ /wɜrd/ /ˈspoʊkən/ /seθ/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðə/ /ˈrulər/ /əv/ /ðə/ /sainəgɔg/ /fɪr/ /nɑt/ /ˈoʊnli/ /bɪˈliv/

Jesus , having heard the word spoken, says to the ruler of the

he suffered no man to follow with him, save Peter, and James, and John
the brother of James.

- [jnd] And
he suffered no one to accompany him save Peter and James, and John the
brother of James.
- [kjv] And

- [asv] And
they come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue; and he beholdeth
a tumult, and many weeping and wailing greatly.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /kʌm/ /tu/ /ðə/ /haʊs/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈrulər/ /əv/ /ðə/ /sainəgɔg/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /bɪˈhoʊldθ/ /eɪ/ /ˈtuˌmʌlt/ /ænd/ /ˈmeni/ /ˈwipɪŋ/ /ænd/ /weɪlɪŋ/ /ˈɡreɪtli/
- [jnd] And
he comes to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and sees the
tumult, and people weeping and wailing greatly.
- [kjv] And

tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
- [asv] And
when he was entered in, he saith unto them, Why make ye a tumult, and
weep? the child is not dead, but sleepeth.
- [snd] /ænd/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /ˈentərd/ /ɪn/ /heɪ/ /seθ/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðem/ /waɪ/ /meɪk/ /ji/ /eɪ/ /ˈtuˌmʌlt/ /ænd/ /wip/ /ði/ /tʃaɪld/ /ɪz/ /nɑt/ /ded/ /bʌt/ /slipθ/
- [jnd] And
entering in he says to them, Why do ye make a tumult and weep? the
child has not died, but sleeps.
- [kjv] And
when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and
weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
- [asv] And
they laughed him to scorn. But he, having put them all forth, taketh
the father of the child and her mother and them that were with him, and
goeth in where the child was.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /læft/ /hɪm/ /tu/ /skɔrn/ /bʌt/ /heɪ/ /hævɪŋ/ /put/ /ðem/ /ɔl/ /fɔrθ/ /teɪkθ/ /ðə/ /ˈfɑðər/ /əv/ /ði/ /tʃaɪld/ /ænd/ /hɜr/ /ˈmʌðər/ /ænd/ /ðem/ /ðæt/ /wɜr/ /wɪð/ /hɪm/ /ænd/ /ɡoʊθ/ /ɪn/ /wer/ /ði/ /tʃaɪld/ /wɑz/

they derided him. But he,
having put all out, takes with the father of the child, and the mother,

they laughed him to scorn.
But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother
of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the
damsel was lying.
- [asv] And
taking the child by the hand, he saith unto her, Talitha cumi; which
is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, Arise.
- [snd] /ænd/ /teɪkɪŋ/ /ði/ /tʃaɪld/ /baɪ/ /ðə/ /hænd/ /heɪ/ /seθ/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɜr/ / / /wɪtʃ/ /ɪz/ /biɪŋ/ /ɪnˈtɜrprətId/ /ˈdæmz(ə)l/ /aɪ/ /seɪ/ /ˈʌntu/ /θi/ /əˈraɪz/
- [jnd] And
having laid hold of the
hand of the child, he says to her, Talitha koumi, which is,
interpreted, Damsel, I say to thee, Arise.
- [kjv] And
he took the damsel by the
hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted,
Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
- [asv] And
straightway the damsel rose up, and walked; for she was twelve years
old. And they were amazed straightway with a great amazement.

- [jnd] And
immediately the damsel arose and walked, for she was twelve years old.
And they were astonished with great astonishment.
- [kjv] And
straightway the damsel
arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they
were astonished with a great astonishment.
- [asv] And
he charged them much that no man should know this: and he commanded
that something should be given her to eat.
- [snd] /ænd/ /heɪ/ /tʃɑrdʒd/ /ðem/ /mʌtʃ/ /ðæt/ /nɔh/ /mæn/ /ʃʊd/ /noʊ/ /ðɪs/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /kəˈmændId/ /ðæt/ /ˈsʌmθɪŋ/ /ʃʊd/ /bi/ /ˈɡɪv(ə)n/ /hɜr/ /tu/ /it/

he charged them much that no one should know this; and he desired that

he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that
something should be given her to eat.
