- [asv] Let
as many as are servants under the yoke count their own masters worthy
of all honor, that the name of God and the doctrine be not blasphemed.
- [snd] /let/ /æz/ /ˈmeni/ /æz/ /ɑr/ /ˈsɜrvənts/ /ˈʌndər/ /ði/ /joʊk/ /kaʊnt/ /ðer/ /oʊn/ /ˈmæstərz/ /ˈwɜrði/ /əv/ /ɔl/ /ˈɑnər/ /ðæt/ /ðə/ /neɪm/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /ænd/ /ðə/ /ˈdɑktrɪn/ /bi/ /nɑt/ /blæsˈfimd/
- [jnd] Let
as many bondmen as are
under yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name
of God and the teaching be not blasphemed.
- [kjv] Let
as many servants as are
under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the
name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
- [asv] And
they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because
they are brethren; but let them serve them the rather, because they
that partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. These things
teach and exhort.
- [snd] /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /ðæt/ /hæv/ /bɪˈlivɪŋ/ /ˈmæstərz/ /let/ /ðem/ /nɑt/ /dɪˈspaɪz/ /ðem/ /bɪˈkɔz/ /ðeɪ/ /ɑr/ /ˈbreðrən/ /bʌt/ /let/ /ðem/ /sɜrv/ /ðem/ /ðə/ /ˈræðər/ /bɪˈkɔz/ /ðeɪ/ /ðæt/ /pɑrˈteɪk/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ˈbenəfɪt/ /ɑr/ /bɪˈlivɪŋ/ /ænd/ /bɪˈlʌvɪd/ /ðiz/ /θɪŋz/ /titʃ/ /ænd/ /igzæwrt/
- [jnd] And
they that have believing
masters, let them not despise because they are brethren; but let them
the rather serve them with subjection, because they are faithful and
beloved, who profit by the good and ready service . These things teach
and exhort.
- [kjv] And
they that have believing
masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but
rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved,
partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
- [asv] If
any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound
words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine
which is according to godliness;
- [snd] /ɪf/ /ˈeni/ /mæn/ /titʃθ/ /eɪ/ /ˈdɪf(ə)rənt/ /ˈdɑktrɪn/ /ænd/ /kənˈsentθ/ /nɑt/ /tu/ /saʊnd/ /wɜrdz/ /ˈiv(ə)n/ /ðə/ /wɜrdz/ /əv/ /aʊr/ /lɔrd/ /ji'zəs/ /krai st/ /ænd/ /tu/ /ðə/ /ˈdɑktrɪn/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɪz/ /əˈkɔrdɪŋ/ /tu/ /'gɔdlinis/
- [jnd] If
any one teach differently,
and do not accede to sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and
the teaching which according to piety,
- [kjv] If
any man teach otherwise,
and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus
Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
- [asv] he
is puffed up, knowing nothing, but doting about questionings and
disputes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil
surmisings,
- [snd] /heɪ/ /ɪz/ /pʌft/ /ʌp/ /ˈnoʊɪŋ/ /ˈnʌθɪŋ/ /bʌt/ /ˈdoʊtɪŋ/ /əˈbaʊt/ /ˈkwestʃənɪŋz/ /ænd/ /dɪˈspjuts/ /əv/ /wɜrdz/ /werˈɔv/ /kʌmθ/ /ˈenvi/ /straɪf/ /ˈreɪlɪŋz/ /ˈiv(ə)l/ /
- [jnd] he
is puffed up, knowing
nothing, but sick about questions and disputes of words, out of which
arise envy, strife, injurious words, evil suspicions,
- [kjv] He
is proud, knowing nothing,
but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy,
strife, railings, evil surmisings,
- [asv] wranglings
of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that
godliness is a way of gain.
- [snd] / /əv/ /men/ /kəˈrʌptId/ /ɪn/ /maɪnd/ /ænd/ /bɪˈreft/ /əv/ /ðə/ /truθ/ /səˈpoʊzɪŋ/ /ðæt/ /'gɔdlinis/ /ɪz/ /eɪ/ /weɪ/ /əv/ /ɡeɪn/
- [jnd] constant
quarrellings of men corrupted in mind and destitute of the truth,
holding gain to be piety.
- [kjv] Perverse
disputings of men of
corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is
godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
- 6:6 [cbgb]
- [asv] But
godliness with contentment is great gain:
- [snd] /bʌt/ /'gɔdlinis/ /wɪð/ /kənˈtentmənt/ /ɪz/ /ɡreɪt/ /ɡeɪn/
- [jnd] But
piety with contentment *is* great gain.
- [kjv] But
godliness with contentment is great gain.
- [asv] for
we brought nothing into the world, for neither can we carry anything
out;
- [snd] /fɔr/ /wi/ /brɔt/ /ˈnʌθɪŋ/ /ˈɪntu/ /ðə/ /wɜrld/ /fɔr/ /ˈniðər/ /kæn/ /wi/ /ˈkeri/ /ˈeniˌθɪŋ/ /aʊt/
- [jnd] For
we have brought nothing into the world: [manifest] that neither can we
carry anything out.
- [kjv] For
we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry
nothing out.
- 6:8 [cbgb]
- [asv] but
having food and covering we shall be therewith content.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /hævɪŋ/ /fud/ /ænd/ /ˈkʌv(ə)rɪŋ/ /wi/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /ðerˈwɪð/ /ˈkɑnˌtent/
- [jnd] But
having sustenance and covering, we will be content with these.
- [kjv] And
having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
- [asv] But
they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and
many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and
perdition.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /ðeɪ/ /ðæt/ /ɑr/ /ˈmaɪndəd/ /tu/ /bi/ /rɪtʃ/ /fɔl/ /ˈɪntu/ /eɪ/ /tempˈteɪʃ(ə)n/ /ænd/ /eɪ/ /sner/ /ænd/ /ˈmeni/ /ˈfulɪʃ/ /ænd/ /ˈhɜrtfəl/ /lʌsts/ /sʌtʃ/ /æz/ /draʊn/ /men/ /ɪn/ /dɪˈstrʌkʃ(ə)n/ /ænd/ /pərdaihʃən/
- [jnd] But
those who desire to be
rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many unwise and hurtful
lusts, which plunge men into destruction and ruin.
- [kjv] But
they that will be rich
fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful
lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
- [asv] For
the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching
after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves
through with many sorrows.
- [snd] /fɔr/ /ðə/ /lʌv/ /əv/ /ˈmʌni/ /ɪz/ /eɪ/ /rut/ /əv/ /ɔl/ /kaɪndz/ /əv/ /ˈiv(ə)l/ /wɪtʃ/ /sʌm/ /ritʃɪŋ/ /ˈæftər/ /hæv/ /bɪn/ /led/ /əˈstreɪ/ /frɑm/ /ðə/ /feɪθ/ /ænd/ /hæv/ /pɪrst/ /ðəmˈselvz/ /θru/ /wɪð/ /ˈmeni/ /ˈsɔroʊz/
- [jnd] For
the love of money is root
of every evil; which some having aspired after, have wandered from the
faith, and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
- [kjv] For
the love of money is the
root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from
the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
- [asv] But
thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness,
godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- [snd] /bʌt/ /ðaʊ/ /oʊ/ /mæn/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /fli/ /ðiz/ /θɪŋz/ /ænd/ /ˈfɑloʊ/ /ˈæftər/ /'raitʃəsnis/ /'gɔdlinis/ /feɪθ/ /lʌv/ /ˈpeɪʃəns/ /'mi:knis/
- [jnd] But
*thou*, O man of God, flee these things, and pursue righteousness,
piety, faith, love, endurance, meekness of spirit.
- [kjv] But
thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness,
godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- [asv] Fight
the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the life eternal, whereunto
thou wast called, and didst confess the good confession in the sight of
many witnesses.
- [snd] /faɪt/ /ðə/ /ɡʊd/ /faɪt/ /əv/ /ðə/ /feɪθ/ /leɪ/ /hoʊld/ /ɑn/ /ðə/ /laɪf/ /ɪˈtɜrn(ə)l/ /.wɛrʌn'tu:/ /ðaʊ/ /wɑst/ /kɔld/ /ænd/ /dɪdst/ /kənˈfes/ /ðə/ /ɡʊd/ /kənˈfeʃ(ə)n/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /saɪt/ /əv/ /ˈmeni/ /'witnis/
- [jnd] Strive
earnestly the good
conflict of faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which thou hast been
called, and hast confessed the good confession before many witnesses.
- [kjv] Fight
the good fight of faith,
lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast
professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- [asv] I
charge thee in the sight of God, who giveth life to all things, and of
Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed the good confession;
- [snd] /aɪ/ /tʃɑrdʒ/ /θi/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /saɪt/ /əv/ /ɡɑd/ /hu/ /ɡɪvθ/ /laɪf/ /tu/ /ɔl/ /θɪŋz/ /ænd/ /əv/ /krai st/ /ji'zəs/ /hu/ /bɪˈfɔr/ /pɔntʃəs/ /pɔntʃəs/ /ˈwɪtnəst/ /ðə/ /ɡʊd/ /kənˈfeʃ(ə)n/
- [jnd] I
enjoin thee before God who
preserves all things in life, and Christ Jesus who witnessed before
Pontius Pilate the good confession,
- [kjv] I
give thee charge in the
sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who
before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
- [asv] that
thou keep the commandment, without spot, without reproach, until the
appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
- [snd] /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /kip/ /ði/ /kəˈmæn(d)mənt/ /wɪðˈaʊt/ /spɑt/ /wɪðˈaʊt/ /rɪˈproʊtʃ/ /ənˈtɪl/ /ði/ /əˈpɪrɪŋ/ /əv/ /aʊr/ /lɔrd/ /ji'zəs/ /krai st/
- [jnd] that
thou keep the commandment spotless, irreproachable, until the appearing
of our Lord Jesus Christ;
- [kjv] That
thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the
appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
- 6:15 [cbgb] 到了日期、那可稱頌獨有權能的、萬王之王、萬主之主、

in its own times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate,
the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

- [jnd] which
in its own time the
blessed and only Ruler shall shew, the King of those that reign, and
Lord of those that exercise lordship;
- [kjv] Which
in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the
King of kings, and Lord of lords;

- [jnd] Enjoin
on those rich in the
present age not to be high-minded, nor to trust on the uncertainty of
riches; but in the God who affords us all things richly for enjoyment;
- [kjv] Charge
