    • [asv]   But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /eɪ/ /ˈsɜrt(ə)n/ /mæn/ /neɪmd/ /æn'ənai əs/ /wɪð/ /səfai rə/ /hɪz/ /waɪf/ /soʊld/ /eɪ/ /pəˈzeʃ(ə)n/
    • [jnd]   But a certain man, Ananias by name, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
    • [kjv]   But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
    • [asv]   and kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /kept/ /bæk/ /pɑrt/ /əv/ /ðə/ /praɪs/ /hɪz/ /waɪf/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /biɪŋ/ /ˈprɪvi/ /tu/ /ɪt/ /ænd/ /brɔt/ /eɪ/ /ˈsɜrt(ə)n/ /pɑrt/ /ænd/ /leɪd/ /ɪt/ /æt/ /ði/ /əˈpɑs(ə)lz/ /fit/
    • [jnd]   and put aside for himself part of the price, wife also being privy to it; and having brought a certain part, laid it at the feet of the apostles.
    • [kjv]   And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
    • [asv]   But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /pitər/ /sed/ /æn'ənai əs/ /waɪ/ /hæθ/ /'seitən/ /fɪld/ /ðaɪ/ /hɑrt/ /tu/ /laɪ/ /tu/ /ðə/ /ˈhoʊli/ /ˈspɪrɪt/ /ænd/ /tu/ /kip/ /bæk/ /pɑrt/ /əv/ /ðə/ /praɪs/ /əv/ /ðə/ /lænd/

    • [kjv]   But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
    • [asv]   While it remained, did it not remain thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thy power? How is it that thou hast conceived this thing in thy heart? thou has not lied unto men, but unto God.
    • [snd]   /waɪl/ /ɪt/ /rɪˈmeɪnd/ /dɪd/ /ɪt/ /nɑt/ /rɪˈmeɪn/ /θai n/ /oʊn/ /ænd/ /ˈæftər/ /ɪt/ /wɑz/ /soʊld/ /wɑz/ /ɪt/ /nɑt/ /ɪn/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈpaʊər/ /haʊ/ /ɪz/ /ɪt/ /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /hɑst/ /kənˈsivd/ /ðɪs/ /θɪŋ/ /ɪn/ /ðaɪ/ /hɑrt/ /ðaʊ/ /həz/ /nɑt/ /laɪd/ /ˈʌntu/ /men/ /bʌt/ /ˈʌntu/ /ɡɑd/
    • [jnd]   While it remained did it not remain to *thee*? and sold, was in thine own power? Why is it that thou hast purposed this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied to men, but to God.
    • [kjv]   Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

    • [kjv]   And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
    • [asv]   And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /ɪt/ /wɑz/ /əˈbaʊt/ /ðə/ /speɪs/ /əv/ /θri/ /aʊrz/ /ˈæftər/ /wen/ /hɪz/ /waɪf/ /nɑt/ /ˈnoʊɪŋ/ /wɑt/ /wɑz/ /dʌn/ /keɪm/ /ɪn/

    • [jnd]   And Peter answered her, Tell me if ye gave the estate for so much? And she said, Yes, for so much.
    • [kjv]   And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
    • [asv]   But Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /pitər/ /sed/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɜr/ /haʊ/ /ɪz/ /ɪt/ /ðæt/ /ji/ /hæv/ /əˈɡrid/ /təˈɡeðər/ /tu/ /traɪ/ /ðə/ /ˈspɪrɪt/ /əv/ /ðə/ /lɔrd/ /bɪˈhoʊld/ /ðə/ /fit/ /əv/ /ðem/ /ðæt/ /hæv/ /bɜrd/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈhʌzbənd/ /ɑr/ /æt/ /ðə/ /dɔr/ /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /ʃæl/ /ˈkeri/ /θi/ /aʊt/

    • [kjv]   Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
    • [asv]   Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them, but without violence; for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.
    • [snd]   /ðen/ /went/ /ði/ /ˈkæptɪn/ /wɪð/ /ði/ /ˈɔfɪsərz/ /ænd/ /brɔt/ /ðem/ /bʌt/ /wɪðˈaʊt/ /ˈvaɪələns/ /fɔr/ /ðeɪ/ /fɪrd/ /ðə/ /ˈpip(ə)l/ /lest/ /ðeɪ/ /ʃʊd/ /bi/ /stoʊnd/
