    • [snd]   /ænd/ /ˈæftər/ /faɪv/ /deɪz/ /ðə/ /haɪ/ /prist/ /æn'ənai əs/ /keɪm/ /daʊn/ /wɪð/ /ˈsɜrt(ə)n/ /ˈeldərz/ /ænd/ /wɪð/ /æn/ /ˈɔrətər/ /wʌn/ /tərtələs/ /ænd/ /ðeɪ/ /ɪnˈfɔrmd/ /ðə/ /ˈɡʌvərnər/ /əˈɡenst/ /pɔ:l/
    • [jnd]   And after five days came down the high priest Ananias, with the elders, and a certain orator called Tertullus, and laid their informations against Paul before the governor.
    • [kjv]   And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
    • [asv]   And when he was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy much peace, and that by the providence evils are corrected for this nation,
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /wen/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /kɔld/ /tərtələs/ /bɪˈɡæn/ /tu/ /əˈkjuz/ /hɪm/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /ˈsiɪŋ/ /ðæt/ /baɪ/ /θi/ /wi/ /ɪnˈdʒɔɪ/ /mʌtʃ/ /pis/ /ænd/ /ðæt/ /baɪ/ /ðə/ /ˈprɑvɪdəns/ /ˈiv(ə)lz/ /ɑr/ /kəˈrektId/ /fɔr/ /ðɪs/ /ˈneɪʃ(ə)n/
    • [jnd]   And he having been called, Tertullus began to accuse, saying, Seeing we enjoy great peace through thee, and that excellent measures are executed for this nation by thy forethought,
    • [kjv]   And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
    • [asv]   we accept it in all ways and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.
    • [snd]   /wi/ /əkˈsept/ /ɪt/ /ɪn/ /ɔl/ /weɪz/ /ænd/ /ɪn/ /ɔl/ /pleɪsiz/ /moʊst/ /ˈeksələnt/ /filiks/ /wɪð/ /ɔl/ /'θæŋkfulnəs/
    • [jnd]   we receive always and everywhere, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.
    • [kjv]   We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
    • [asv]   But, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I entreat thee to hear us of thy clemency a few words.
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /ðæt/ /aɪ/ /bi/ /nɑt/ /ˈfɜrðər/ /ˈtidiəs/ /ˈʌntu/ /θi/ /aɪ/ /ɪnˈtrit/ /θi/ /tu/ /hɪr/ /ʌs/ /əv/ /ðaɪ/ /ˈklemənsi/ /eɪ/ /fju/ /wɜrdz/
    • [jnd]   But that I may not too much intrude on thy time, I beseech thee to hear us briefly in thy kindness.
    • [kjv]   Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
    • [asv]   For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
    • [snd]   /fɔr/ /wi/ /hæv/ /faʊnd/ /ðɪs/ /mæn/ /eɪ/ /'pestilənt/ /ˈfeloʊ/ /ænd/ /eɪ/ /ˈmuvər/ /əv/ /ˌɪnsəˈrekʃ(ə)nz/ /əˈmʌŋ/ /ɔl/ /ðə/ / /θruˈaʊt/ /ðə/ /wɜrld/ /ænd/ /eɪ/ /ˈrɪŋˌlidər/ /əv/ /ðə/ /sekt/ /əv/ /ðə/ /næz'ərinz/
    • [jnd]   For finding this man a pest, and moving sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a leader of the sect of the Nazaraeans;
    • [kjv]   For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
    • [asv]   who moreover assayed to profane the temple: on whom also we laid hold: and we would have judged him according to our law.
    • [snd]   /hu/ /mɔrˈoʊvər/ /ˈæˌseɪd/ /tu/ /prəˈfeɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈtemp(ə)l/ /ɑn/ /hum/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /wi/ /leɪd/ /hoʊld/ /ænd/ /wi/ /wʊd/ /hæv/ /dʒʌdʒd/ /hɪm/ /əˈkɔrdɪŋ/ /tu/ /aʊr/ /lɔ/
    • [jnd]   who also attempted to profane the temple; whom we also had seized, away with great force out of our hands,
    • [kjv]   Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
    • [asv]   But the chief captain Lysias came, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /ði/ /tʃif/ /ˈkæptɪn/ /laisiəs/ /keɪm/ /ænd/ /wɪð/ /ɡreɪt/ /ˈvaɪələns/ /tʊk/ /hɪm/ /əˈweɪ/ /aʊt/ /əv/ /aʊr/ /hændz/
    • [jnd]   td>
    • [kjv]    But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
    • But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
    • [asv]   commanding his accusers to come before thee. from whom thou wilt be able, by examining him thyself, to take knowledge of all these things whereof we accuse him.
    • [snd]   /kəˈmændɪŋ/ /hɪz/ / /tu/ /kʌm/ /bɪˈfɔr/ /θi/ /frɑm/ /hum/ /ðaʊ/ /wɪlt/ /bi/ /ˈeɪb(ə)l/ /baɪ/ /ɪɡˈzæmɪnɪŋ/ /hɪm/ /ðaɪˈself/ /tu/ /teɪk/ /ˈnɑlɪdʒ/ /əv/ /ɔl/ /ðiz/ /θɪŋz/ /werˈɔv/ /wi/ /əˈkjuz/ /hɪm/
    • [jnd]   And the Jews also joined in pressing the matter against , saying that these things were so.
    • [kjv]   Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
    • [asv]   And the Jews also joined in the charge, affirming that these things were so.
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /ðə/ / /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /dʒɔɪnd/ /ɪn/ /ði/ /tʃɑrdʒ/ /əˈfɜrmɪŋ/ /ðæt/ /ðiz/ /θɪŋz/ /wɜr/ /soʊ/
    • [jnd]   But Paul, the governor having beckoned to him to speak, answered, Knowing that for many years thou hast been judge to this nation, I answer readily as to the things which concern myself.
    • [kjv]   And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
    • [asv]   And when the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, Paul answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I cheerfully make my defense:
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /wen/ /ðə/ /ˈɡʌvərnər/ /həd/ /ˈbekənd/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/ /tu/ /spik/ /pɔ:l/ /ˈænsərd/ /fərəz'mʌtʃ/ /æz/ /aɪ/ /noʊ/ /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /hɑst/ /bɪn/ /əv/ /ˈmeni/ /jɪrz/ /eɪ/ /dʒudʒ/ /ˈʌntu/ /ðɪs/ /ˈneɪʃ(ə)n/ /aɪ/ /ˈtʃɪrf(ə)li/ /meɪk/ /maɪ/ /dɪˈfens/
    • [jnd]   As thou mayest know that there are not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem,
    • [kjv]   Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
  11. 24:11 [cbgb]   你查問就可以知道、從我上耶路撒冷禮拜、到今日、不過有十二天.
    • [asv]   Seeing that thou canst take knowledge that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem:
    • [snd]   /ˈsiɪŋ/ /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /kænst/ /teɪk/ /ˈnɑlɪdʒ/ /ðæt/ /ɪt/ /ɪz/ /nɑt/ /mɔr/ /ðæn/ /twelv/ /deɪz/ /sɪns/ /aɪ/ /went/ /ʌp/ /tu/ /ˈwɜrˌʃɪp/ /æt/ /jərusələm/
    • [jnd]   and neither in the temple did they find me discoursing to any one, or making any tumultuous gathering together of the crowd, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city;
    • [kjv]   Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
    • [asv]   and neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any man or stirring up a crowd, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city.
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /ˈniðər/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈtemp(ə)l/ /dɪd/ /ðeɪ/ /faɪnd/ /mi/ /dɪˈspjutɪŋ/ /wɪð/ /ˈeni/ /mæn/ /ɔr/ /ˈstɜrɪŋ/ /ʌp/ /eɪ/ /kraʊd/ /nɔr/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈsɪnəˌɡɑɡz/ /nɔr/ /ɪn/ /ði/ /ˈsɪti/
    • [jnd]   neither can they make good the things of which they now accuse me.
    • [kjv]   And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
  13. 24:13 [cbgb]   他們現在所告我的事、並不能對你證實了。
    • [asv]   Neither can they prove to thee the things whereof they now accuse me.
    • [snd]   /ˈniðər/ /kæn/ /ðeɪ/ /pruv/ /tu/ /θi/ /ðə/ /θɪŋz/ /werˈɔv/ /ðeɪ/ /naʊ/ /əˈkjuz/ /mi/
    • [jnd]   But this I avow to thee, that in the way which they call sect, so I serve my fathers' God, believing all things which are written throughout the law, and in the prophets;
    • [kjv]   Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
    • [asv]   But this I confess unto thee, that after the Way which they call a sect, so serve I the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /ðɪs/ /aɪ/ /kənˈfes/ /ˈʌntu/ /θi/ /ðæt/ /ˈæftər/ /ðə/ /weɪ/ /wɪtʃ/ /ðeɪ/ /kɔl/ /eɪ/ /sekt/ /soʊ/ /sɜrv/ /aɪ/ /ðə/ /ɡɑd/ /əv/ /aʊr/ /ˈfɑðərz/ /bɪˈlivɪŋ/ /ɔl/ /θɪŋz/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɑr/ /əˈkɔrdɪŋ/ /tu/ /ðə/ /lɔ/ /ænd/ /wɪtʃ/ /ɑr/ /ˈrɪt(ə)n/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈprɑfɪts/
    • [jnd]   having hope towards God, which they themselves also receive, that there is to be a resurrection both of just and unjust.
    • [kjv]   But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
    • [asv]   having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there shall be a resurrection both of the just and unjust.
    • [snd]   /hævɪŋ/ /hoʊp/ /tɔrd/ /ɡɑd/ /wɪtʃ/ /ðiz/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ðəmˈselvz/ /lʊk/ /fɔr/ /ðæt/ /ðer/ /ʃæl/ /bi/ /eɪ/ /ˌrezəˈrekʃən/ /boʊθ/ /əv/ /ðə/ /dʒʌst/ /ænd/ /ʌnˈdʒʌst/
    • [jnd]   For this cause I also exercise to have in everything a conscience without offence towards God and men.
    • [kjv]   And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
    • [asv]   Herein I also exercise myself to have a conscience void of offence toward God and men always.
    • [snd]   /hɪrˈɪn/ /aɪ/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /ˈeksərˌsaɪz/ /maɪˈself/ /tu/ /hæv/ /eɪ/ /kæhn(t)ʃən(t)s/ /vɔɪd/ /əv/ /əˈfens/ /tɔrd/ /ɡɑd/ /ænd/ /men/ /ˈɔlˌweɪz/
    • [jnd]   And after a lapse of many years I arrived, bringing alms to my nation, and offerings.
    • [kjv]   And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.
    • [asv]   Now after some years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings:
    • [snd]   /naʊ/ /ˈæftər/ /sʌm/ /jɪrz/ /aɪ/ /keɪm/ /tu/ /brɪŋ/ /ɑmz/ /tu/ /maɪ/ /ˈneɪʃ(ə)n/ /ænd/ /ˈɔfərɪŋz/
    • [jnd]   Whereupon they found me purified in the temple, with neither crowd nor tumult. But it was certain Jews from Asia,
    • [kjv]   Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.
    • [asv]   amidst which they found me purified in the temple, with no crowd, nor yet with tumult: but there were certain Jews from Asia--
    • [snd]   /əˈmɪdst/ /wɪtʃ/ /ðeɪ/ /faʊnd/ /mi/ d/ /ɪn/ /ðə/ /ˈtemp(ə)l/ /wɪð/ /nɔh/ /kraʊd/ /nɔr/ /jet/ /wɪð/ /ˈtuˌmʌlt/ /bʌt/ /ðer/ /wɜr/ /ˈsɜrt(ə)n/ / /frɑm/ /eɪzhə/
    • [jnd]   who ought to appear before thee and accuse, if they have anything against me;
    • [kjv]   Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
    • [asv]   who ought to have been here before thee, and to make accusation, if they had aught against me.
    • [snd]   /hu/ /ɔt/ /tu/ /hæv/ /bɪn/ /hɪr/ /bɪˈfɔr/ /θi/ /ænd/ /tu/ /meɪk/ /ˌækjəˈzeɪʃ(ə)n/ /ɪf/ /ðeɪ/ /həd/ /ɔt/ /əˈɡenst/ /mi/
    • [jnd]   or let these themselves say what wrong they found in me when I stood before the council,
    • [kjv]   Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.
    • [asv]   Or else let these men themselves say what wrong-doing they found when I stood before the council,
    • [snd]   /ɔr/ /els/ /let/ /ðiz/ /men/ /ðəmˈselvz/ /seɪ/ /wɑt/ /rɔŋ/ /ˈduɪŋ/ /ðeɪ/ /faʊnd/ /wen/ /aɪ/ /stʊd/ /bɪˈfɔr/ /ði/ /ˈkaʊns(ə)l/
    • [jnd]   than concerning this one voice which I cried standing amongst them: I am judged this day by you touching resurrection of dead.
    • [kjv]   Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
    • [asv]   except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question before you this day.
    • [snd]   /ɪkˈsept/ /ɪt/ /bi/ /fɔr/ /ðɪs/ /wʌn/ /vɔɪs/ /ðæt/ /aɪ/ /kraɪd/ /ˈstændɪŋ/ /əˈmʌŋ/ /ðem/ /ˈtʌtʃɪŋ/ /ðə/ /ˌrezəˈrekʃən/ /əv/ /ðə/ /ded/ /aɪ/ /ɑm'/ /kɔld/ /ɪn/ /ˈkwestʃ(ə)n/ /bɪˈfɔr/ /ju/ /ðɪs/ /deɪ/
    • [jnd]   And Felix, knowing accurately the things concerning the way, adjourned them, saying, When Lysias the chiliarch is come down I will determine your affair;
    • [kjv]   Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
    • [asv]   But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will determine your matter.
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /filiks/ /hævɪŋ/ /mɔr/ /ɪɡˈzækt/ /ˈnɑlɪdʒ/ /kənˈsɜrnɪŋ/ /ðə/ /weɪ/ d/ /ðem/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /wen/ /laisiəs/ /ði/ /tʃif/ /ˈkæptɪn/ /ʃæl/ /kʌm/ /daʊn/ /aɪ/ /wɪl/ /dɪˈtɜrmɪn/ /jʊr/ /ˈmætər/
    • [jnd]   ordering the centurion to keep him, and that he should have freedom, and to hinder none of his friends to minister to him.
    • [kjv]   And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
    • [asv]   And he gave order to the centurion that he should be kept in charge, and should have indulgence; and not to forbid any of his friends to minister unto him.
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /heɪ/ /ɡeɪv/ /ˈɔrdər/ /tu/ /ði/ /sent(j)uriən/ /ðæt/ /heɪ/ /ʃʊd/ /bi/ /kept/ /ɪn/ /tʃɑrdʒ/ /ænd/ /ʃʊd/ /hæv/ /ɪnˈdʌldʒəns/ /ænd/ /nɑt/ /tu/ /fərˈbɪd/ /ˈeni/ /əv/ /hɪz/ /frendz/ /tu/ /ˈmɪnɪstər/ /ˈʌntu/ /hɪm/
    • [jnd]   And after certain days, Felix having arrived with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jewess, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

    • [jnd]   And as he reasoned concerning righteousness, and temperance, and the judgment about to come, Felix, being filled with fear, answered, Go for the present, and when I get an opportunity I will send for thee;
    • [kjv]   And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
    • [asv]   And as he reasoned of righteousness, and self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, Go thy way for this time; and when I have a convenient season, I will call thee unto me.
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /æz/ /heɪ/ /ˈriz(ə)nd/ /əv/ /'raitʃəsnis/ /ænd/ /self/ /kənˈtroʊl/ /ænd/ /ðə/ /dʒədʒment/ /tu/ /kʌm/ /filiks/ /wɑz/ /ˈterəˌfaɪd/ /ænd/ /ˈænsərd/ /ɡoʊ/ /ðaɪ/ /weɪ/ /fɔr/ /ðɪs/ /taɪm/ /ænd/ /wen/ /aɪ/ /hæv/ /eɪ/ /kənˈviniənt/ /ˈsiz(ə)n/ /aɪ/ /wɪl/ /kɔl/ /θi/ /ˈʌntu/ /mi/
    • [jnd]   hoping at the same time that money would be given him by Paul: wherefore also he sent for him the oftener and communed with him.
    • [kjv]   And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
    • [asv]   He hoped withal that money would be given him of Paul: wherefore also he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
    • [snd]   /heɪ/ /hoʊpt/ /wɪðˈɔl/ /ðæt/ /ˈmʌni/ /wʊd/ /bi/ /ˈɡɪv(ə)n/ /hɪm/ /əv/ /pɔ:l/ /ˈwerfɔr/ /ˈɔlsoʊ/ /heɪ/ /sent/ /fɔr/ /hɪm/ /ði/ /ˈɔf(ə)nər/ /ænd/ /ˈkɑˌmjund/ /wɪð/ /hɪm/

    • [kjv]   He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
    • [asv]   But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
