1. Grace! 'tis a
charming sound,
Harmonious to the
ear;
Heav'n with the
echo shall resound,
And all the earth
shall hear.

All sufficient
grace!
E'er exhaustless
grace!
Christ has fixed
within my heart
His humble dwelling
place.
2. Grace took the
place of sin
To reign within my
heart,
That from the pow'r
of self and sin
I freely might
depart.
3. Grace taught my
wandering feet
To tread the
pilgrim road;
And new supplies
each hour I meet
While pressing on
to God.
4. There is no
greater grace
Than God who came
to earth,
God manifested in
the flesh.
God dwelling in my
heart.
